Would be cool if they did like a "throw back Thursday" once a year in the parks and brought back all the old outfits and old attractions/restaurants (at least the ones they can)

I'm typing this update one handed. why? Because I broke my wrist skateboarding yesterday. Oops!!! Was recovering from a broken foot on our last trip and now I'll have a cast on my arm for this trip. I hope this doesn't become a new tradition. Oh well, it could have been worse. At least I don't need surgery. Hopefully the pain will mostly subside by Friday.

Also looking at the bright side, I'll only have to deal with work for two days, and then I'll have a week and a half of healing at Disney before I have to get back on the keyboard. If you are going to miss work because of an injury, you might as well be at the happiest place on earth, right?

I guess I need a good sharpie so I can try and get Mickey and friends to sign the cast!

Well that kinda sucks just before going to Disney, but as long as it doesn't hinder riding any rides..... Although I suppose beach day will be less interactive for you now. But as you said, it could have been worse!

Might be fun to get all the characters to sign your cast!

Well, sounds like you have a good attitude about the wrist. I think I have a bunch of sharpies in different colors for you to use. I think Mickey's autograph on a cast sounds awesome. Sending prayers for a very speedy recovery & relief from the pain. So sorry for you.

Wow tomorrow is the day for your family..I bet you are on pins and needles.. Sorry to hear about your broken wrist but you are right about it healing in the happiest place on earth. Awesome idea for Trivia I wish I had thoguth of that last Dec when I went with my neice and Goddaughter. Next time for sure.

We are mostly packed and ready to go. I'll work most the day and then head home a little early to help Stephanie get the car loaded and ready for when Pickle gets off the bus.

Got the cast put on yesterday. Still optimistic that other than swimming, I'll fully be able to enjoy the trip. Oh, and now I have a good excuse to not ride rock'n roller coaster with Princess and Buddy

WooHoo......today for you guys and 3 days for the Grand Floridian. So excited. Hope your pain level is down and you have plenty of drugs. Swimming isn't the best, but maybe a little wading will cool you down. If not, drinks at the pool bar might be in order!! Drive safe and call if you need anything.
