Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, it's off to the CSR we go! A Feb PTR 2/28 Trip report started!!!

I am still in disbelief that this is really happening! Be sure there will be lots of photos of the meet!
We changed that itinerary that I just posted AGAIN! :lmao:
I have so many itineraries that yesterday I started a whole new overview and printed it right out, so I can make changes and make REAL notes! :rotfl:

Tina, it is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are IN THE TEENS!!! I mean in just nine more days we will be able to check in online! :woohoo:
Hope you'll get better SOON!!!!!! .......... and that the snow stops for you!!!!!!! :scared1:

I know....we can do on-line check-in so soon! Its amazing. Only two more weekends before we leave. :scared1: Means that I have quite a bit to do!. Finalize our plans, print things out, etc. Luckily, most of my packing is done already. Thanks for the  We got another snow day and Max's daycare stayed open, so I'm planning on getting some much needed rest today. And :goodvibes that the ice we're expecting tomorrow doesn't get too bad!

I'm so excited :yay:for you both, sounds like a great trip! Please take lots of pics of the GF tea. I love teas. I go to one every year to benefit my cousin's school. It's so lovely:love:.I love dressing up and wearing a hat:cloud9:. Lemon curd is my fav. spread. What's your favorite type of tea? Although I enjoy lots of types my fav.is earl grey or lady grey and I never take milk in mine:upsidedow no matter what type I'm drinking.

Can't wait to read more! Can't wait to read mickeyniki's either. That's how I first started reading your threads. You posted on hers that you were writing a thread funny how things come full circle. Now I find out about her trip from yours:rotfl:

Wooow, a big breakfast Dismeet, I'm so jealous!!!

You guys are SO CLOSE, can you STAND IT???? I'm getting so excited for you guys.

We have a major storm warning for tonight and tomorrow. OH, what I would give to be in Florida right now...

Gee, I get lost for a few days and look at the EXCITING updates!!! :woohoo:

What a fabulous Meet!!! If there was such a thing as cheap airfare you'd be adding one more to that group.;)

What fun ya'll will have!!!:dance3:

Me, too, Yuki! We're getting ICE down here! But you'll be seeing everyone soon, too!

Reading all this business about the Dream is really making me reconsider my no disney without kids policy! We are planning our 10 yr anniversary next year and I told hubby no disney stuff since we aren't taking kids, but he's being pretty persistant, and the Dream is looking mighty nice.

We don't have kids and we had such a great time both times we went. My husband who at first was not thrilled with the idea of going on our first DC now wants to book a longer cruise with Disney when we go to DW in 2012. If 7 days on the Fantasy is your only request I think I can make that happen:banana:It is so relaxing and if you want to be with only adults you can do that in the adult sections. I never heard kids crying and the staff is so wonderful. Really and truly we fell in love with our waiter. And it is very Romantic:hug: I can hardly wait:cloud9:

I totally agree. DH and I enjoyed our Wonder cruise, and the children on the ship had a great time, we didn't hear crying (which was something we would have expected before going). We loved the adults only beach and lunch on CC.
DH was more than willing to go again. I hope to get to book on the Fantasy during our Dream cruise!:woohoo:

I had a moment of excitedness a few days ago. I thought I was going to be in Tampa when you guys have your DIS Meet. I was like ooooo Tampa is only about an hour from Disney.....maybe I could hop over for the day! But then I realized I had my dates wrong and that I'm Tampa the 11-13. :sad2:

Oh well.

Anyways.....notice anything different about my signature? ;)

That sounds like heaven!!!! :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I wish I could stay for that long!

It IS, Tim, it is heaven! Disney heaven! :goodvibes

Hop on over to my trip report and join us for the rest of the vacation! I have only gotten to Day 11 yet! :rotfl2:

Hi Karin,

I grew up in Walding. That's approximately 10km from Linz. The only thing I know about Bad Leonfelden is the famous Kastner bakery. I love their products.

Salzburg is indeed very beautiful, but it is also cramped during summer and winter, especially during the Salzburg Festival and Christmas Market.

When you take your class to Salzburg, you definately should go to the trick fountains of Hellbrunn. I'm sure they will like it.

You grew up in Walding? Our house is on the Pöstlingberg, so that is real close!!
I guess Kastner IS what Bad Leonfelden is famous for! :rotfl2: Well, they have a spa where you can have mudpacks and that's pretty famous too! ;)

Guess what, I wanted to take my class to the trick fountains in Hellbrunn last year as the final part of our project week in Obertraun. BUT, we picked a week (in May) where it rained and rained and rained some more all week long and we were pretty much done "getting wet".
But those fountains are part of the reason I want to go there in the summer with them - just last bit of fun together!

And btw isn't it funny how we stick to hold that conversation in English? :rotfl2:

I know....we can do on-line check-in so soon! Its amazing. Only two more weekends before we leave. :scared1: Means that I have quite a bit to do!. Finalize our plans, print things out, etc. Luckily, most of my packing is done already. Thanks for the  We got another snow day and Max's daycare stayed open, so I'm planning on getting some much needed rest today. And :goodvibes that the ice we're expecting tomorrow doesn't get too bad!

Online Check-in can be done on Thursday (remember, we're going to spend the first night offsite). :dance3:
I have started writing and printing our itinerary folder. I always do a folder with day by day plans, ADR numbers and all the reservation details. I have not quite finished it yet and I still need to print my mousekeeping envelopes. Thank god I have so many designs that I only need to print them out, cut them out, fold them and "fill" them! :lmao:

Hope your weather has cleared up a bit! We have had wonderful weather the last two days - sunny, clear blue skies and temperatures way above freezing! It feels like spring - unfortunately I guess it is NOT going to stay that way. :lmao:
I guess you are checking the weather online as well - the first two days are already available and it looks like Saturday is rainy but Sunday should be fine. On the other hand - I guess that can change about 13 times ;) until we get there!

I'm so excited :yay:for you both, sounds like a great trip! Please take lots of pics of the GF tea. I love teas. I go to one every year to benefit my cousin's school. Thank you!
We are so looking forward to our trip!
We were supposed to have the GF tea last year, but cancelled it because we wanted to try "The Ditch" (La Cava de Tequilla). ;)
So this year we are hoping to make it happen. I promise to take LOADS of phots - that's what I love to do!
My favourite tea is Earl Grey or Lady Grey - both are best consumed "pure", as you know too! :thumbsup2

I am hoping to update here tonight. Getting to half term is always a busy time at school and this year is no exception, but I am trying my best! :goodvibes

Good Morning!!! My goodness, it is already Feb 6th....getting close to Mickey time!!!!:woohoo:

Well here I am, now to get started reading. I love your reports, & envy all of the time that you get to spend at WDW.:cool1:

Wow, started reading the report. I couldn't believe that you are staying at the Red Roof Inn in Kissimmee! That is where we stayed for our first 3 trips to Disney in '75,'76 & '77.

At the Red Roof Inn is where we first heard of a breakfast buffet. It was really good, but I don't know if they still have the buffet. :lovestruc

Sorry, I had to stop posting more answers, but school work and lack of sleep caught up with me! ;)

Wooow, a big breakfast Dismeet, I'm so jealous!!!

You guys are SO CLOSE, can you STAND IT???? I'm getting so excited for you guys.

We have a major storm warning for tonight and tomorrow. OH, what I would give to be in Florida right now...

YES, I am so looking forward to our DISmeet! And we are only 11 days away from our vacation - it is unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you got through the storm unharmed! I have been a bit out of the loop lately with lots of work for school!

Gee, I get lost for a few days and look at the EXCITING updates!!! :woohoo:

What a fabulous Meet!!! If there was such a thing as cheap airfare you'd be adding one more to that group.;)

What fun ya'll will have!!!:dance3:

Christine, I could not believe how fast this all happened. First Nicki announced that they would be at WDW at the time we were there and then Tina get in on the plan and

voila!

A DISmeet! :woohoo:

Oh, and btw, did you find that "cheap airfare"? ;)

Me, too, Yuki! We're getting ICE down here! But you'll be seeing everyone soon, too!

Has it all melted away by now, Tina? Thankfully we have had more nice days here and I cannot tell anyone HOW MUCH I am enjoying these "warmer" days!

Reading all this business about the Dream is really making me reconsider my no disney without kids policy! We are planning our 10 yr anniversary next year and I told hubby no disney stuff since we aren't taking kids, but he's being pretty persistant, and the Dream is looking mighty nice.

Disney is FUN, even without kids! :thumbsup2 So many things to do and so much to see and enjoy!
And a Disney cruise is the ultimate fun. Since we do not have kids we were not sure if we would like such a "family oriented" environment as a Disney cruise ship, but there are enough adult areas, so you don't even get close to the family places.
And to be honest ......... Serenity Bay is just heaven! :cloud9: No kids allowed ...... so there is your Disney without kids place to be! ;)

We don't have kids and we had such a great time both times we went. My husband who at first was not thrilled with the idea of going on our first DC now wants to book a longer cruise with Disney when we go to DW in 2012. I can only second that! :thumbsup2 Very well said!!!!!!

Yeah, Teri! I could not have explained it any better! I hope that we can get on the same Fantasy cruise next summer!

:sad2:

Boo for having the dates wrong! It would have been so fun if you had been able to join us! :goodvibes

Hi Karin !!!

Hi Rosie! Hope you are doing well! :flower3:

Good Morning!!! My goodness, it is already Feb 6th....getting close to Mickey time!!!!:woohoo:

It's already Feb 8th today and we are getting pretty close to it now! Double digits the day after tomorrow! :woohoo:
I can't believe it is finally here after booking it during our summer vacation at WDW! ;)

Well here I am, now to get started reading. I love your reports, & envy all of the time that you get to spend at WDW.:cool1:

Hi! Welcome home to another one of my reports! :flower3: :goodvibes

:lovestruc

In the meantime the Red Roof was cancelled and we are now staying at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista, which is much closer to DTD.
But we know the Red Roof well, we stayed there a few years back for a few nights and really enjoyed the space we had in the room. They were even offering a free breakfast buffet, but we never went! :sad2:

Sorry I have neglected this thread for quite some time, but school has been busy and I didn't have much time for my favourite pastime - making and changing plans for trips! ;) :lmao:

So here is another change to our Day 2 - the DISmeet day!

We will spend the night at the Clarion Inn, Lake Buena Vista, after a long day of travelling, immigration and driving to WDW.

07.jpg

Since our inner clocks will still run on European time we will be up early (usually we wake up at around 5am, which is 11am Austrian time) and try to get ready.

We will try to check out of the hotel shortly after 7, load everything into our car ..........

04.jpg

which should look something like this one - Chrysler Sebring or similar :lmao: and head over to the Beach Club.
Since we have now changed our Day 2 plans we are going to have the car Valet parked and we are going to pay for it!
I had intended to use our Tables in Wonderland perk for parking, but since we want to spend a little more time at the resort and park we thought that Valet would be the way to go!

We will then meet Nicki and Todd and Tina, Mark and Max for breakfast! This is going to be so much fun! Can you imagine three ladies running wild with their cameras taking photos of ......

FOOD! :rotfl2:

So far I think the others are heading into Epcot after breakfast and Tom and I have now decided to do the same for a little while. We will all walk through the International Gateway and play at the park for a bit.

IMG_2029.jpg

We will probably leave Epcot around 11am and head to the Coronado Springs resort to check in.

IMG_4325.jpg

If our room is ready by then ....... WONDERFUL! We could load everything into the room and head over to Downtown Disney for lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Express

IMG_5647.jpg

IMG_5654.jpg

If the room is not ready we will leave luggage with bell services and head over to WPE anyway! :lmao:

Once lunch is done we will make a quick stop at Publix for some drinks and snacks and we hope that by then the room IS ready, so we can leave everything there.

At around 2pm we will head out to Port Canaveral to wave goodbye to the DREAM and hopefully say hello to Wayne, who hosts the thread for the first one of our DREAM cruises this summer.

10.jpg

And the rest is still the same as it was planned before - head back, rest, maybe meet Tina for a drink, head over to the Contemporary for dinner at The Wave and then stay for Extra Magic Hours until 3am!

How on earth will I be able to stay up that late? :scared1:  :rotfl:

Sorry I have neglected this thread for quite some time, but school has been busy and I didn't have much time for my favourite pastime - making and changing plans for trips! ;) :lmao:

YES-- You have been...:rolleyes1 But I completely understand being that busy at school, especially when wrapping up a term.

So far I think the others are heading into Epcot after breakfast and Tom and I have now decided to do the same for a little while. We will all walk through the International Gateway and play at the park for a bit.
That will be such a fun walk! EPCOT will be interesting for us this trip, because Max can't do any of the super headliners, so we'll be able to be pretty relaxed about things, I think!

;) I have no idea how you're going to stay up that late! Then again, neither do I! Nor do I know how I'm going to make it up for an 8:00 ADR at Crystal Palace! Don't feel too much pressure, though. I will go either way. Of course, I would so enjoy the company, but seriously...no pressure to stay up that late.

The weather for our trip is looking positively lovely! :cloud9: Everytime I check, I just more and more excited!!
