Sometimes I would just walk around with the camera dangling from my wrist and the camera bag would just be open, more than once someone pointed out that they thought I must have lost something. I really did love that clip-on bag!

Wal-Mart has a huge selection of cute little camera bags that will clip easily to the strap of your bigger bag!

OOOHHH Jenn! I am feeling your woes too. I want to be cute too when I'm at Disney! I'm just not sure how to make the visors more fashionable?? I understand their purpose and they are great to wear, but they are kinda like Crocs to me. I like my Crocs because they are comfy, but they are just not cute. (the big ones anyway) And, you don't really want to spend anymore money on more shirts if you have enough. I think that if you have cute bottoms to go with your tops, add a cute pair of earrings... That's all I got sister.
As far as the bag thing goes, I usually take a light weight, draw string backpack. We rent a locker and put our lunches in there.
My youngest DD thought she could walk last time we were there and she was six. We ended up renting a stroller and she would ride when she got tired. It's a smart thing for you to take her stroller, just in case.
What other resorts are you looking at staying?

I totally get resort angst, and bag angst, and clothing angst. I've had plenty of it. I have no advice, it just takes time to figure out what's best for you.

I am SO getting one of those!!!! My camera will fit in there perfectly!

I am definitely looking into getting some fun/new bottoms for the trip and because I need them. I will work on the cute earrings too......hmmmmmmmm!!!! I'll keep you updated on the wardrobe front!!!

In all honesty, if we don't do ASMO, we will upgrade to CSR.....we love it there!

Why can't Disney make cute shirts. Something besides T-shirts that make you look like you have gained 50 pounds in all of your pictures.

Instead of thinking about the resort, think about the parks and the fun you will have. My Sept. trip this year is a budget trip and to make up for the resort. I plan on visiting the monorail resorts, visit gift shops, do a little deluxe looking and picture taking. Then go back to my resort and have sweet dreaming about my deluxe trip in future.

I believe Megan will love the big icons at all stars, and you can have pictures of her with them. This will be a special just the three of you trip and hold on to that idea.

Do you know anything about the cargo sling or the mailbag? I want to know about how big they are and what types of storage they have. I think I may need to make a trip to Deerfield!

Jen- so sorry you are having so much angst. I think we all relate. As others have said, there is no resort on property that doesn't have a bad review so you have to take it with a grain of salt. But, that said, you should also go with your gut and if you're the kind of family who really enjoys relaxing at the resort then maybe you want to consider a change. Either way it is going to be a magical trip. Good luck with your decision!

Sorry to keep you waiting....I had to shut my computer down for a little bit because it was moving so slow and not running right....I was afraid I would type up the update and lose it. Now it seems to be rolling along, so I will go update!!!

A new month, a new week, a weekend of quiet to think it all through, and what do you have?!?!?!?! That's RIGHT---CHANGES my friends!!!! Tom and I had a nice 4th of July weekend, but the holiday got us thinking and dreaming about our own Jolly Holiday of sorts---our trip in September. And what happens when two like-minded parents get to thinking? We start really analyzing our vacation choices, and realize we want to make some changes.

It all started out when we really started looking at our park plans and what we hoped to do, and we both decided pretty much at the same time that we no longer really wanted the Hoppers. They are great, but we want a slow, leisurely trip this year, and we don't feel like the hoppers are going to be a big help out to us. SO, we decided that we would need to plan our days as if we were only going to do one park per day. I know this is probably shocking to many of you---heck, I shocked myself---but I really think we are all going to like it this way so much better!

So we did some looking over our schedule and did some minor changes. BUT with our changes, came some good fortune....can you find it?????

NEW Itinerary:

9/21--Check in/Pool/And at some point head over to wander around MK....CS somewhere for dinner (we don't want to be bound down by a ressie)

9/22--8:35 am Breakfast at Tusker House AK (9-5pm) Probably some swim time at the resort then Dinner at Chef Mickey's at 8:10pm

9/23--All day at EPCOT (9-12am PM EMH) Dinner at Kona Cafe at 5:20pm....I sure hope the monorail is working by then.

9/24--All day at MK (8-9pm AM EMH) Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern at 8:40pm.....hopefully a quiet stroll down an empty Main Street afterwards!

9/25--All day at DHS (9-8pm) Fantasmic at 8pm We are going to do CS all day at DHS.....can't find a ressie at Sci Fi yet....still looking!

9/26--8:10am breakfast at Crystal Palace then All Day at MK (9-10pm) Dinner at Tony's Restaurant at 5:10pm

9/27--All Day at MK (9-11pm PM EMH) Lunch at 1pm at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner at CS

9/28--9:30am Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic breakfast then depart for home......

SO, did you catch our fortunate luck?!?!?!?!?!? Tusker House RESSIE!!!! YEAH!!!!

Okay, so we were all in the mood for change, and thought, why not call WDW and see about upgrading to CSR.........well, then we hit a problem. The wonderful CM I spoke to reassured me that we would have no problem switching resorts and keeping our Free Dining promo.......now would there be room?!?!??!??!?!?!?!!?

















NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right kiddies.....she said there was no ressies left at CSR or POFQ or POR. We could still upgrade to CBR, but at this time, no luck for our beloved CSR. Well, the road block temporarily derailed the change train. Tom wasn't prepared with info about CSR, and didn't want to switch until he knew more about it.....plus, we still really wanted to go to CSR.......what should we do kiddies?!?!?!?!?! We are sold on the upgrade, but not sure about the destination............it would be nice if it could be a little easier, eh?!?!?!?!??!?!
