Okay so I know it’s a good couple of months away but the excitement is building and although I am an avid reader of the boards I have never actually contributed a trip report so here it goes (please bear with me) my first pre trip report.

Background: We last went to Disney in Oct 2007, we took my nephew with us (he was 15) where we stayed for the first time onsite at the All Star Music resort, with Disney dining and we actually got married whilst we were there.

Background on the wedding: My brothers wife had passed away in the June and after being engaged for 10 years we decided that life was too short to wait for the perfect time (with the right money, weight, location and everything else) so we went down to Osceola Court House on Oct 15th 2007 and got married in front of my parents (they were over there on their hols), aunt (who lives in Tampa) and nephew and although this was a happy occasion which cheered my nephew up immensely as being 1 of 12 nieces and nephews it made him feel special unfortunately it also put a damper on any honeymoon romance as as we all know rooms at all star Music consist of 1 room and 2 beds. So this is our 2nd attempt at a Honeymoon just the 2 of us at Coronado Springs. (This was originally suppose to be the Beach club but with the current economic crisis I had to wind in my expectations and change to Coronado springs but the positive to come out of this is we can now afford to go to Boston, Ma for New Years eve.

Here are the details, such as they are currently:

We are planning our trip for Sept. 18th – Oct 02 2009. So as sad as I am, this holiday was actually booked back on 28th August 2008, so there has been a lot of looking forward to do.
And although I am just glad to be going to Disney at all, we normally go in Mid-Oct, but now I work at a University and we are unable to take any time off during October, but I think Walt himself must be smiling down on me as we will be there in time to enjoy Food & Wine Festival, Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween and Universals Halloween Horror Nights.

As I mentioned above we were initially going to stay at the Beach club but we have downgraded to stay at the Coronado Springs resort (which I am thrilled about as I hear you can spot Armadillo’s there, and they happen to be one of my favourite animals) but we have kept our Deluxe Dining plan, so on here I hope to go through all of the restaurants I am hoping to get ADR’s for, plans of our Days, places we hope to go, and I hope that anyone reading will contribute idea’s or activities.

The players:
Me (Debra)-currently 25, but I'll be 26 by the time of the trip. I work at Oxford University at their Careers Service, a job in which I really enjoy. I have no children at present (which is the way we intend to stay, lol) so like to spend spare time with friends family, the Dis boards, travelling and on the Wii Fit. I took my 1st trip to Disney at the age of 17 and then again 2 years later with my finance (my now husband) and we have been hooked ever since.

DH (Gary)-currently 27 will be 28. Gary works in the retail sector and is currently manager at a bookies (not entirely sure if they have these in the states but it is where sports bets are placed, and they have slot machines and what not), Gary is obsessed with the Football especially the Liverpool Football team, he loves his Xbox (debatably more than me at times, lol) he also loves spending time with family and friends travelling and watching movies.

The PLAN: To be Updated

The ADR’s: To be Updated

I have just ordered my 2009 Passporter, so I will update as my plans progress, I hope you enjoy and apologise now for waffling on and my inability to spell.
