Hi - I keep reading in posts about "heavenly beds" at the Swan. What are they and are they as good as they sound?
Thanks in advance,
Mo

The Heavenly bed is the signature bed of the Westin hotels.

Is it comfortable? For a hotel bed, it's one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Soft but supportive at the same time. It's not just the mattress and springs, it the entire package. The duvet was really nice. The pillows were VERY comfortable!

But frankly my Sealy Reflexions mattress and springs are much more comfortable. JMHO.

Anne ~ what do you charge a night? I'll look you up if I'm ever in NJ :p

Love to have you visit--and I'll show you around NYC if you ever get this way.

Taking this thread off topic a tad--but we love the Sealy Reflexions set SO MUCH that we're going to buy an identical one for the Florida house once it's built. DH USED to be up with the birds--or even before them--every morning. Since we got this new bed even he doesn't want to get out of it. :)

LOL Anne ~ hubby enjoying a long lie in, thats good for him. :)

We bought a bedroom suite from Thomasville and the salesperson asked if we wanted to buy a new matress/boxspring ~ we said sure, give us the best you have... it is a Sealy too ~ but I don't know what kind.... but when I saw the price of it - I had to lie down

Thanx for the offer about NY, I do want to get there one day :) I'll treat you to lunch the the Russian Tea Room or Tavern on the Green ~ have always wanted to try them.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Russian Tea Room is closed, but I must say, I had lunch at Tavern on the Green during the Christmas season one year, and not only was the food delicious, but the decorations were out of this world. I'd love to be able to go back again some day.

I love my Sealy too - I had never stayed at any hotel (Westins w/HB's included) that I liked better than my bed at home.
Until recently I stayed at a St. Regis that was awesome - the mattress and bedding was unbelievable sooooooo comfy!!!

Anyway back on topic - if you are interested in any of the Westin's "Heavenly" products - including bedding and bath/shower stuff you can buy it online from westin.com

Heavenly Beds are a great marketing approach that Westin has done very well with - this website is proof of that! ;)

Yes, the Russian Tea Room closed last year. How about cocktails at the Oak Room instead ;)

Only if the Oak Room has a refillable mug program and they promise that even though the signage says "no" - I will get free refills for the rest of my life (coz I'm special) :p

You got yourself a date Anne,
