Heather & Kevin's PJ/TR! SBP/Ariels-9/19/09: Post Ceremony Started! Updated 5/10!

So the day is quickly approaching and I cannot believe how close we are! Now we just have to get everything packed which I am sure will be a process in and of itself! We have a total of 88 room nights booked (Our block was 40!) and we have 48 guests!!! Everything couldn't have seemed to be more perfect...then I woke up with a horrible toothache! Grr. I went to the dentist today and had to have a lovely root canal done! So here I am all jacked up on pain meds filling you in! I guess it was a blessing to have it happen this week rather than when we're in Florida or Mexico though!

Anyway, my best friend/MOH drove in from Myrtle Beach this weekend and on Saturday night her, me, my mom, and sister in law had a lovely girls night making favors and things for the wedding and drinking pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris! We got a lot done and had a really good time!!! I have photographic evidence that we really we're being productive too although there was alcohol involved!

I forgot to mention that a few weeks ago I went to Home Depot and jacked a bunch of the Disney paint samples to make a countdown calendar for my two neices/flower girls, Addison & Emma. I also used a mickey head punch to make mickey stickers for them to stick on the mickey paint chip head as each day passes.

You may remember that we were planning on using M&M's as our favors but we nixed the idea and decided to do our favorite candy instead! Kevin lovessss York Peppermint Patties (And he's from NY so that's kinda cool) and my Nonna got me obsessed with Ferraro Rochers! Yum! So my mom used one of her fancy cutting things to cut out boxes and we put them all together this weekend.

I love love love them and not only because they're yummy, they're cute too!

Then finally I decided I wanted to make t-shirts for the wedding party as the one's online were ridiculously overpriced. So I went to Old Navy and found tanks for $2.99 a piece and ordered the rhinestone words online off of Amazon.com for either $1 or $2 a piece! I decided that I would make little bags for my nieces too! Everything was iron-on and they were so easy and turned out really cute!

You can see some of the stuff for the welcome bags in the pictures, I'll update later on those and the bridesmaid "jewelry". That's all for now, I think it's time for a nap!

OMG I LOVE everything!!!!

The favors came out AWESOME! I love the idea of edible favors as opposed to something someone will get and put in their kitchens junk drawer and never see again.

The tank tops came out great, they look professionally done! And so cute that you made the countdown out of the home depot paint samples... i did the same thing for our engagement trip!

I dont like the whole root canal thing though.... i hate dentists and i had a run in with a nasty tootheache before a disney trip too... its never a good thing but atleast you go it over with now and can enjoy the wedding and honeymoon!!!

We had just arrived at WDW that day and had taken a bus from DTD to BW and were walking over to EPCOT for our dinner ADR at Morocco...I said to DH..."ooh, wouldn't it be cool if we saw a wedding when we walked by SBP?" (We got married at SBP on May 1). And because his eyesight is better than mine, he saw your setup way before I did..

You looked BEAUTIFUL!!! And it was sooo hot that day! eesh! I love the whole look of the wedding and you had steel drums, right? Man! I have to go back and read your PJ now!!

I haven't downloaded my pics from my camera yet, but I will soon and I'll post the pic of you here and send it to you if you want.

Anyway, Congrats!!! Are you going to do a full TR? I'd LOVE to read it!!

Haha that's awesome! I can't wait to see the pic! I could not believe how many people were taking pictures of us! But I am sure you know how that was because you were married on the Boardwalk too! It was hot that day but the day before for the rehearsal was even hotter so it didn't seem so bad to us! And yep we had the calypso trio, I am planning on doing a full TR!

So we were planning on getting up bright and early on Tuesday morning to make the 8 hour drive down to Orlando however I had to work late and by the time we got done packing up the cars it was well past midnight. Therefore we didn’t end up getting on the road until 6:30AM but we made great time and we were checking into the Sheraton Safari Suites right outside of Disney property not long after 3PM. I work for Starwood and earned a night so I figured why not stay for free! That night my mom and I went to get a mani/pedi and got Chilis soup & salad take-out. Yum! Then we all went for a swim and hit the hay!

On Wednesday we got up and checked into the Caribbean Beach Resort where we would be staying for the rest of our trip! I have to say that we all thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The grounds were beautiful and it was so nice to have a quiet pool right outside our building. Our guests were either staying with us at the CBR or at the Pop Century and it was great to be so close to everyone since we had the car to go back and forth if needed. Wednesday was a little crazy because we had a lot of friends and family coming in so we tried to meet up and say hi to as many as we could. We also took the wedding bags over to the front desk so everyone would receive them at check-in. That night Kev and I and my brother, Sean and his girlfriend, Kelly decided to hit up AK because it was having EMH. Kev and I had never ridden Everest in the dark and Sean and Kelly had never been to AK at all so it was a lot of fun!

I love Disney in September because there is little to no wait so we hit up Everest a few times and a couple other things too before heading back and crashing. We had early reservations at the Crystal Palace the next morning!

I've never ridden EE in the dark either but DF and I made it a point to do it on the honeymoon!! Its looks like you guys had fun!

Everyone's reactions on that Dinosaur ride look tame! I absolutely crapped myself on that ride- its soooooo scary! I went on it again straight after the first time, thinking i would actually be able to not be a scardy cat and cover my eyes the whole way but nooooo. But soooo great though!

You looked stunning ...! Your dress is so beautiful! i cant wait to read more of the TR!
