Does anyone know if there is a health food store, or even regular grocery store, near the apartment complexes that carry Gluten-free foods?

A friend told me that there is a Whole Foods in Orlando, but that it's still a 30-45 minute ride. So I'm hoping someone has info on something that's less of a drive! Thanks! :)

If you can get to a Publix, they have some pretty good health options. Smaller than a health food store (and obviously WAY smaller than Whole Foods), but when I was living there, Publix seemed to suit my day-to-day needs. They have a nice health food section with lots of gluten-free foods.

Whole Foods is at the corner of Sand Lake Road and I-4. It is between WDW and Universal. If it takes someone 30-45 minutes to get there, they either don't know where they are going or they are trying to go during Orlando's rush hour.

I've been looking as well as I'm used to Trader Joe's, sometimes Whole Foods, and farmer's markets.

This article is a great start, highlights the health food stores in Orlando: http://***************************/article/557627/where_to_buy_organic_food_in_orlando.html?cat=46

Besides Publix, it seems you have...

Whole Foods
8003 Turkey Lake Road, Phillips Crossing
Orlando, FL 32819
Chatham Square to WF Google Map

Chamberlin's
(one in Kissimmee too)
7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd.
Orlando, FL 32819
Chatham Square to C's Google Map

The Organic Place
1246 S. John Young Parkway
Kissimmee, FL
Chatham Square to TOP Google Map

From what I've researched there are a few farmer's markets, such as the Winter Park Market and the Downtown Orlando one near Lake Eola Park.

Since I'm not bringing a car, I'm seriously considering using GardenGrocer.com based in Florida for food delivery. I priced it at about same as going to the grocery store with gas money.

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you! That's a great list! :)

I have been to The Organic Place and I love that place. Theyhave a cute cafe that I like to eat in.

Glad I could help. :)

That's great you enjoy the place. I read many good things about it online. Of course actually visiting there is another matter so that's good news to hear.
