Heads up! New iPods!

Just a heads up, Apple's just released new, slimmer iPods in black and in white that play music, show photos and play video (such as music videos or TV episodes).

I reckon they're gonna storm the market - again - even though the technology is nothing new. Thoughts?

I was listening to talk radio and they were complaining about IPODS. They feel ripped off with the recent releases.

My thoughts are how I am dreading going to the Ipod store because I feel about 100 years old. I know NOTHING about Ipods but my kid wants one for Christmas so I guess I have to go down there and look like the UNhip old lady.....I've been putting it off for months now.....hopefully I'll make it down there by Christmas Eve.

I ordered my new nano off the apple.com site (through igive.com) it came with free name engraving and also free shipping........since like you I feel challenged entering a store with a 20 year trying to explain things to me! I had ordered the mini about a year ago and was very happy with it, it's just that the nano is smaller which I use for my morning exercise program. Be forewarned though if you are looking at the nano there is usually a backorder at the stores and even through the online thing it is 1-2 week wait. Just thought you should know so you don't wait til Christmas eve! I am sure it will get even worse.
