Heads up - If you change cruises you have to do Safe Passage again

I had entered our information in Safe Passage over the weekend. Yesterday we changed from a Fantasy to a Dream cruise with our reservation. It took almost 24 hours and then all the information disappeared from the system and you need to reaccept and reenter all the information again.

It will remember your basic information but you need to go back through and enter it again.

I am not sure if it matters if you change rooms on the same cruise but it absolutely does matter if you change your reservation to a different cruise inside the 33 day mark.

There must be a "priority" queue for people like myself as I submitted and was "cleared" within about 20 mins this morning. We are at days 27 and 31 for our cruises both were cleared.

We changed rooms on our upcoming Dream sailing after we did Safe Passage and it did NOT make me re-enter anything. I think it is tied to the reservation number, not the room number.

That said, you have me paranoid now and I'm going to go check again!

Okay good to know.

I will clarify though my reservation number did not change just the sailing. So if you change the sailing then you need to resubmit but if you just change rooms it sounds like it is not impacted.

What if you go from a 7 day down to the 4 day. The reservation number is the same and departure date is also the same?

You might want to check it 24-48 hours after it updates in the DCL site.
