Heads up for anyone flying Song out of Logan

Hi,

I was just checking on my flight for Nov 05 and Jan 06 and it now appears that the first flight out of Boston is 7:40am and not 8:30am. Just wanted to post a heads up to go check your flight online just in case.

Thanks for the warning. Just the other night I was checking the flights for my October flights and found out about the change. Just wondering if they will stay that way. I actually did not want to fly that early but I guess I have choice now......

One of my bosses (I have two) booked a Disney Dream, Dining, Happy Ending, Magical Beginnings(or whatever you call them now)Package Deal through Triple A....flying Song out of Boston in December. She told me she got a call from the AAA travel agent the other day to say her return flight was moved up an hour. I was there when she got the phone call at work..all she said when she got off the phone was......"They took away an hour with Mickey from me!"

Happening with the BDL flights also. Not bad on the early 7:00 AM, now 6:50 AM to MCO starting this fall, but the 11:30 return (MCO to BDL) is now 10:20 AM.

We are leaving in three weeks and they didn't change ours, same outgoing and return. Seems like they are changing it just after the "high" season.

Thank you! Both of my flights have changed.

Going down changed from 8:30a (nov 25) to 7:40a which is fine with me. My flight coming home (Dec 2) changed from 6:55p to 6:00p which is ok.

When I went in to check my itinerary, my seats were now unconfirmed due to the change in schedule. That always worries me because our flight down is just about full. So I called and she assured me my seats are the same and she fixed it online and also sent me, updated e-tickets.

I feel so much better now!

only my return flight changed from 6:55 PM to 6:00 PM . I would have rather had my flight down change from 8:30 AM to 7:40 AM instead so we could get there a little earlier. Does Song usually notify you of these time changes or should I just keep checking to see if it changes again?

No, they are very lax on letting you know of changes. This has been my second schedule change and both times I found out on my own and called to be sure I had the same seats (cause both times my itinerary had the seats as un-confirmed).

When you book early its especially good to check once a month or so as they'll likely be a few changes before your trip comes.

Yes. Our return flight is now at 6pm instead of 6:55pm but we are arriving an hour earlier so it was a wash to us.

So after 15mins on hold I was able to get through to a person and we are all set again. Now flying out at 7:40am on Saturday morning, this is going to be a little tough on the family we are traveling with, and 6pm coming home.

I haven't gotten a call nor an email, both are leaving and return flights changed, leaving at 7:40 instead of 8:30, and coming home 6pm instead of 6:55.

No call or alert here either, but then we don't fly for another month and a half. A bit bummed about losing the hour from 6:55 to 6:00 pm, but oh well, at least it's not earlier! They must be changing them across the board.

We've been changed from 6:55 going down to 8:00 ando coming home it's changed from 6:55 to 6:00. We loose on both ends.
No notification for us. I just happened to check. I'm hoping it will change to better times before Nov.
After reading posts I'm now nervous of seating changes. DH & I have our 4 kids flying with us.

We called and confirmed out seats(online it showed unconfirmed, but after we called they emailed us new tics and the website showed the correct seats), I will call ME probably in a few days(not going until sept 30th so no big rush)

Now, if we had tried to change our flight times, we would be charged like $50, so anyone have the guts to call song and ask em for $50?
