I think they are restricted from being turned on during take off and landing like other electronics.
I looked on amazon and they seem to range from $40-$200. Since they are for a child do the cheaper ones work ok or do you really need a good pair for them to be effective?
Funny, I never knew what noise cancelling ear phones were. So you can use them to listen to music and DVD's and somehow they cancel out the airplane noise? Just what I'm looking for!
