Headless Horseman at Boo to you parade!

Does anyone know what is being read right before the Headless Horseman rides down main st?

Nothing! I went to the hall of presidents and asked everyone. I said they were suppose to tell the tale of the headless horseman. I got the deer in the headlights looks.

No stories beforehand. Sorry.

I don't believe they read it at the Hall of Presidents but rather somewhere in the park itself. Supposedly they read Ichabod and Mr Crane. As soon as the story is finished the headless horseman takes off down the streets of MK. We were staking out a parade spot so we didn't get to experience the reading so I can't confirm if this is factual. If I find the actual spot I will post it soon.

We were outside of the Hall of President's for the second parade on 9/29 and an abbreviated version of the story of Ichabod and the Headless Horsemen was read just before you could see the Horseman riding through Frontierland and into Liberty Square. It was an awesome moment! Just wish he rode slow enough for us to get a clear picture.

As long as there aren't any complications (like rain) that prevent the horse from running

I got my video transferred to DVD so here's some audio of the "story". . . it's not great quality, and we missed the start of the story, but it gives you an idea of what to listen for.
