Hi, everyone!! :wave2:

My husband, kids and I are heading to Florida this coming Friday, May 6th, for vacation. My great-aunt is allowing us to stay in her home about an hour and a half north of Orlando. So, we will not be staying on property, unfortunately.

My husband has suggested we take a day or two to go to Disney!! :woohoo: I am sooooo excited!! We will probably do the Magic Kingdom and Disney Studios (if we do two days). So, my husband is wondering if there is any way to make it more "special" for the kids while we are there?

A little background...

In August, 2007, I took my mother and sister for a week to Disney. We stayed on property during Free Dining. I talk about what a great time we had all the time. We ate at Coral Reef and had a diver and personalized menus. He is hoping I can pull off something like that this time.

It took several months to put together the trip with my mom and sister. I had time to figure it out. This time, we just decided tonight that we will be going next week. So, I am begging for help!! :upsidedow What can I do to make it special, but still look completely spontaneous?

Thank you!

Michelle :flower3:

PS - we have a 16 year old son (will be 17 this summer) and a 9 year old daughter.

Sorry for the late reply, Michelle! Maybe you could do one of the "Behind the Scenes" tours . . . . I know friends of ours have done the one at the Land (I think it's called "Behind the Seeds" or something like that) in Epcot. It's about hydroponics, but it's apparently interesting enough that their kids liked it, too!

In any even, I know you will have a WONDERFUL time because, after all, you'll be in DISNEY WORLD!!!! (Take lots of pictures, of course! ;))

I don't know how much you are wanting to spend, but you could do a fireworks cruise. We're planning on doing this on our next trip.

Thank you for responding! They do look awesome, however that is a bit pticey. Also, I like to be closer to the castle so we can see Tinkerbell. I think my daughter would be highly disappointed if we missed that. ;)
