Hi all, thanks in advance for all of your help, because I am totally lost...

My 2 daughters, wife, her best friend and I decided today to work a side trip to Disneyland Paris into our vacation this April. Once the excitement past, the realization set in... We know nothing about it! :scared1:

So I am turning to you, the experts for help.

Right now we are planning on spending 2 full days and 3 nights at the resort. Is this enough time to get a good taste of the parks?

We are planning on getting 2 rooms at the Cheyenne rather than 1 family room at one of the nicer hotels, to save a bit. How does the Cheyenne compare to the Sante Fe?

And now the real question, If you could go into each park and ride 1 ride, see 1 show or parade, and eat at one restaurant, what would you choose?

Thanks again for your help. Right now I am just totally lost :sad2:

Hi, I have not stayed at ether hotel however the Cheyenne is popular for its theming which is very good:thumbsup2

My must do restaurant would be Walt's, it is a lovely restaurant and is dedicated to Walt Disney so lots of pictures of his life and other memorabilia. It is a really relaxing place to eat and is on Main street. There will be one parade in each of the parks so I would see both. If I had to do one ride it would be POTC, I prefer the Paris version to the WDW one.

Hi!

I've stayed at the Cheyenne several times and it is a really good hotel, a lot of hotel for your money. the rooms are a bit smaller than Santa Fe rooms I think, as they have one double bed and a set of bunk beds (which the kids love!), but still roomy enough, especially if you are getting 2 rooms.

In Disneyland Park, I would go see the Tarzan show, it is fantastic, I would ride Big Thunder Mountain or Space Mountain, and I would eat at Toad Hall Restaurant, but Walts or Auberge de Cendrillion may be a nicer choice!

In Walt Disney Studios, i would go see Cinemagique (fabulous!), go on Crush's coaster and have a croque monsieur at the backlot express :)

Hope this helps!

Hi
I have stayed in all the hotels at DLP and have to say that I prefer the Cheyenne over Santa Fe (although Santa Fe is great too!). The cowboy theming is great and is is marginally shorter to walk to the parks if you want to walk.
2 - 3 days should be enough to see most of the parks if it is not too crowded.
My favourite rides etc- Hum very hard but here goes:-
Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean
Rock & Roller Coaster
For kids Peter Pan's flight, Small World (of course!!!) Cars
Shows - Tarzan, Honey I shrunk the audience, Animagique, Cinemagique
Restaurants - Walts, Blue Lagoon, Cafe Mickey (for character meals), Auberge de Cinderellon and I cannot resist the Oreo cookie milkshakes at Annettes Diner in the village. Oh and the Rainforest Cafe is great too.
I guess it's all great in my eyes which explains why I am making my 12th trip on 21st Jan. Got it pretty bad I guess
Have a great trip
