Good morning Leanne....can't believe one week today you'll be at your "new home". I am so happy for you

That weekend is a long weekend in Canada and we are going to the states for a girls weekend!! I had originally cancelled it but really feel a small getaway is in order. Going to Fargo ND with Jasmine and my friend Brenda...her daughter was supposed to come too, but now has to help with a recital (she's a dance teacher). I will think of you Saturday morning while I'm shopping!!!!

If for some reason life gets in the way (it seems to be happening alot lately) and I don't get to chat with you before you go, have a wonderful time!!! Can' wait to hear all about and see your pics of Kidani Village!!!!

A girls getaway sounds like so much fun. I hope you guys enjoy your shopping. When you go to Fargo, you get some Mexican food too right? I think I remember you mentioning that. I could be losing my mind though so excuse me if I'm off my rocker. You guys probably need a little break after the trip cancellation and all the upcoming graduation activities. I hope it's wonderful.

Our trip is definitely coming up fast. I have only 4 more work days! To be honest I haven't packed a thing. I have things segregated but no packing yet. We did stop by our storage unit and pick up our luggage yesterday. I wil start getting things more organized this afternoon. I am going to do a really thorough cleaning on the house today so that I will just have to touch up this week as time allows. Since our neighbor comes over and takes care of the dogs at least I don't have to do too much to get the dogs ready for us to leave. We have 2 practices and 3 softball games this week so I have to make the most of today.

6 days!!!

I am beside myself with excitement. Thank you so much for the posting the AKV pics Sarah. They are beautiful. I hope we see similar surroundings next week!

Yesterday was a busy one. I got up early, put the remaining yard sale stuff out and then decided that I'd rather watch Josie play softball, so I put it all in my van (which is working as a great storage facility at the moment ), got my shirt on and headed to the ballpark. After her game we took some donations to the daycare, headed over to Olive Garden for lunch, stopped by storage to pick up our luggage, went back home, changed into Lindsey's team shirts, gathered Girl Scout apparel and headed to the next town up for Lindsey's game.

Lindsey had a great game even though her team lost. She had two hits and played second base and shortstop. She did great for her first time in those two spots.

After the game, we changed clothes and headed to Bowling Green Ballpark for Scout Night with the Hot Rods. The Hot Rods are the minor league team for the Tampa Bay Rays. Here are some pics from the event.

Before every Saturday home game my employer sponsors a hot rod parade..those of you who know where I work will understand....

Josie had a big time at the game. She really got into clapping and cheering for the Hot Rods. Check her out...



The game got over at 10pm. They were showing "Up" on the big screens and scouts were camping on the field but my troop decided to skip that part of the event. There were so many rules to camping that it just didn't make sense to stick around. One of the rules was that the Dad's would have to go over to the boy scout side of the field and couldn't hang with us. It was a lot of fun though and probably our last event until we have a summer celebration sometime in June.

Today I will be doing a deep cleaning on the house, organizing outfits and hopefully finishing an outfit for Lindsey. I haven't gotten the dresses and outfits done like I had hoped but we have a few more trips coming up so I will try to get some done for those...I already have the material.

You are right!!! We go to a restaurant called Paradiso and we love it That's exactly what made me decide to take this weekend and go....Jasmine is going through her drawers to see what she actually "needs" this weekend...that's the difference of her spending her own hard earned money and not mine

We picked up her dress yesterday....I had a moment in the store....she looked so beautiful....I can't imagine how I'm going to be on the actual day

Gave Joe his b-day present since I probably will only see him for a few minutes tomorrow on his actual birthday. He loved it-thank goodness!
