Hi all! Had a great weekend! First I want to start this update with a pic of the little man we met last week that think's he's marrying Taylor Swift...I found this pic tonight when I was uploading pics of the next parts of the update. I totally forgot he let me take his picture!

Doesn't he look like an older Al Bundy! His girlfriend wanted her icing colored blue. Look at those blue lips!

Anyway, yesterday was low key. The girls and I met my Mom and Dad for lunch, delivered some cookies, watched some movies and ordered a pizza. It was a fun relaxing night. While watching the movies I finally finished Josie's tu-tu. She wouldn't take it off after I let her try it on so you will have to see it on her only. She actually slept in it last night. She's so funny!

The pics aren't great (she wouldn't stand and wanted to pose like a model on our pullout sofa) but here she is wearing it anyway....note the non-matching jammies. That's my girl!

Today we had a cookie booth. It was cold and gray here today. Sales weren't very good but we have another 4 dates and times before sales are over so hopefully things will pick up when the weather starts to change.

I realized last night that I didn't share pics of the backsacks Santa brought for the girls. The girls will be using these as their carry-ons. They will be responsible for them. We'll pack their DS's, some games, snacks, crayons, coloring books, doodle pad, etc. in them ...here they are...

Glad to hear you had a good weekend. The tutu is absolutely adorable. I saw a little tutu looking skirt at Target (on the clearance rack of course) and I thought that it would be perfect for a little girl to wear to Disney World.

The backpacks are adorable. Hunter carries a backpack on our drive to Disney World. I usually throw in a few surprise things that he doesn't know about. Of course, he's already started digging in the backpack after about 10 minutes on the road.

I just went to my first 31 party on Friday. I loved their stuff!

Thanks Mary! I think the little girl is pretty darn cute too...of course I'm just a little bit biased. Are we going to get to see a pic of the princess backpack?

I hope to get back to training soon also. I bought an otterbox defender for my new phone and I got the armband for $10 more. As soon as it gets here I'm all set to start running. Hopefully the weather is breaking. Looks like we will be close to 50° this weekend.

I think they're cute also Stephanie! Thanks on the tu-tu. It was my first. She seems to really like it. Thirty-one is the name of the company and they are a home business. They have some really cute stuff. I think I got both bags for less than $40. I've got my fingers crossed for some good sales too. We are planning a trip to Holiday World this summer and the more we can cover by cookie sales, the better it will be for the parents.

I would have loved to have a cute bag like that when I was younger! I wish Leona would pop on here and tell y'all about Al Bundy. The look on her face when he asked her to feel his muscles was priceless.

Thanks Julia! A co-workers daughter is a consultant and she lets me know when they are having some really good specials. I really like it for the girls. I've had good luck with the organizers for their playroom also.

Thanks so much Lisa! The girls don't last long before digging into their bags either. Josie fell in love with a tu-tu at Target (that's what started this tu-tu business) but i just couldn't make myself spend the $15. I found some simple instructions on the web and decided to try it myself. I have less than $5 in that tu-tu and it's special to her because Momma made it. It's not near as pretty but she loves it and that makes me happy. Hope your week is starting out better than last week!

Thanks B! If I can make that cake anyone can. So easy once you know how the decorators do it. We loved our GAD. I printed our vouchers over the weekend and put them up with the special documents.

I didn't know you grew up in Evansville! How cool is that??? My Dad goes to the VA clinic in Evansville several times a month. It's a neat town. I love Holiday World. They have an amazing waterpark and the place is clean and riff-raff free. It's a great place to take the family. Free soft drinks and sunscreen is a good bonus too. How funny that you were from Evansville, living in MI now and I grew up in MI, living in KY now.

Thanks Connie! A crate is a great idea if you have the room. I'd love to drive for that very reason. On a plane you only get the little space under the seat in front of you if you want access the entire flight. Hope you're having a great day as well!
