OH! boy cookies...I remember doing the popcorn thing with Dayne. are they still $3 a box? I always thought that was so much easier to sell than the $15 popcorn.

It will be okay. I hate it when I allow someone to make me so mad I'm brought to tears. Don't worry I didn't let him see me in tears. This particular person has been behaving like a child for about a week now. Today I just reached my breaking point.

Cookies are $3.50/box, so that makes for some squirrelly math for little girls. It is easier to sell something that's less than $5 and tastes super yummy too.

Thanks Mary! He is a jerk. An even number would be nice for cookie selling. Older troops its not such a big deal but asking a second grader to figure the math on 7 boxes at $3.50 can be challenging. Hope you have a nice weekend lined up! I enjoyed talking to you the other night.

Hi everyone! Not much of an update....I've been neck deep in Girl Scout Cookies since Tuesday night. We have our first booth sales this weekend and I have some family cookies to deliver so it looks like we will be busy.

I had a rough day at work today. I'm strongly considering taking a PTO day for tomorrow. I've had enough for the week.

Good luck with cookie sales.

I was too. Until two boxes showed up at my house. If I had bought thin mints or samoas I would have eaten the whole box in minutes. Just no willpower. I could ship mine to you and share with you if you want. I don't mind.

There must be something in the air that's covering the entire United States because I've had a few sucky days here lately too. I hope that the suckiness is wearing off and you are having a better day today.

There's nothing worse than a man shouting at you that isn't related to you whatsoever (even then shouting is unacceptable). I know it sounds sexist, and really I don't mean it to be, but when you are the only female in a room full of men and a man shouts at you, the dynamics change. They just do. That's only happened to me twice in my career. Both times, I could have killed the man that did it. You'd think after 16 years of performing a traditionally male job, that it wouldn't bother me anymore but somedays, it just does.

I've been pretty good on the cookies so far. I've had 4 thin mint cookies. Keep in mind that I have 100 cases in my kitchen.

Thanks Lisa! Sorry to hear you've been having some sucky days too. Part of my job is to overlook people acting foolish but yesterday was just over the top. It's best if I stay in isolation today. I'm not quite over it just yet.

Thanks Queen! I didn't take a day off, decided I wasn't going to give up a day of PTO for this butthead. I just stayed low key most of the day and it went okay. I'm starting to get over it now. I'll be fine by Monday. Hope you're having a great weekend!!

It worked out pretty good. How's your weekend going? Today I delivered 50 boxes of GS cookies, worked on tu-tu for Josie and watched Brother Bear and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with the girls. It's been a good, relaxing day for the most part. Hope you're having a good weekend!
