We have been one other time but for me it was right after surgery so I can't remember the name of the area - but from the balcony we had a view of DTD.
DH turned 50 last year and I couldn't take him away from his family as they wanted to be with him, but this year is another story.
We just went in April and will be back in August, but, well, we have some points that are expiring the end of July and it seemed like such a waste not to use them. For the heck of it I tried to see if there were any dinner openings at The California Grill on his birthday and there was one at 5:30 - our favorite time! So I booked it knowing I could cancel and forwarded the confirmation to dh at work and asked him if I should keep it or cancel - he said to keep it!
Where should we request to stay? Usually we just let things happen that will happen and we have lucked out pretty well that way.
8 weeks and 2 days until our next trip!
The surprise is that we are not telling the kids or anyone else as we don't want to hear "but you just got back!" and then they'll say it again in August...
