So...here are a few more. Just wanted to let you all :cough cough:: Linda) to know that I'm still working on them!

These are all from our first morning in DC. We started out at the Capitol Building and then headed to the US Botanic Gardens.

My cousin on the Metro.

I'm not particularly thrilled with this shot of the Capitol, but I am THRILLED that I managed to Photoshop out an entire truck. It may not be as great as some of the photos I had help with last week from other DISers, but I at least feel like I might be getting this whole PP thing just a littttttle.

At the Botanic Gardens. This was an unplanned stop and the one day of the trip I didn't carry my macro lens.

I'm not sure, didn't look at the signs and kind of wishes I did now because other than the orchids and lilly, I don't know what any of them are!! I do know that I took this in either the "Jungle" room or the "Rare and endangered species" room---so if you found this in Ohio, your picture will be much much more interesting than mine!! Either that, or the US Botanic Gardens has their plants mixed up

First let me say that your pictures are amazing. I am on the DISboards all the time but do not go on the photo board much. I stopped by tonight to check it out and am amazed.

Now second, we were the Sunday also. We were down in WDW for two weeks and were driving home to NJ over that weekend. We stopped in DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I completely agree about how crowded it was. We left DC around 5:00 and did not get home until almost 11:00.

Anyway, here are a few of my photos. While in Disney I found a pinpoint setting on my camera and tried it out.

Check out the crowds.

Looking forward to seeing more.

no mine was from a greenhouse as well, we barely even have daffodils up yet i didn't look at the sign either, it was in the orchid room though but looked like some tropical type plant( i think, if i remember)
guessing that is Lincoln's hat(..unless it belongs to one of the old guys in muppets 3d)

Thank you and I mean really, how would you know it wasn't the ride unless you've seen the exhibit at the museum? You're not alone, I'm sure.

Also---completely OT but I was just re-reading some of your Wedding/Honeymoon TR (don't ask why, it's a slow Sunday around here) and I have just one question which is:

They built a Wawa IN your HS?! That is awesome, I didn't know such things were possible.

I graduated the year after you (another school of course) and to my knowledge, still no Wawa there.

So, I've got a couple more done---it's taking much longer than I thought and with another project coming up this coming weekend, I need to get these finished!!!

First attempt at a long exposure at night. Could I have possibly picked a less busy street (traffic wise)?? So much for the 14th floor room.
