Headed out next week on the 19th, my husband is freaking out over covid!

It isn't in my comfort zone yet to do the parks. Heck, I left Home Goods yesterday because it was too crowded for my liking so use that as your barometer. ;) But numbers really are spiking and my dh has some health risks so I try to err on the side of overly cautious.
Does your state have any quarantine restrictions when you come home from FL? I know it is on our state's list and we would be supposed to quarantine for 14 days upon returning home.
I do not think we have any quarantine etc. we are in texas

What about when you get home just regarding quarantining from your husband, not as a Texas mandate? Testing?
Just checked TX’s covid pages on their DSHS page and they don’t list any restrictions. With case counts soaring, I’d keep an eye out. More and more states are adding restrictions (TX has not been very inclined to do that though so probably not an issue). Be careful. Things are rapidly spiraling.

We went again yesterday because friends wanted to go spur of the moment and mask compliance was much better than last Friday. I'd say it was 90-95% compared to Friday when it was maybe 60%. Are you going during the week, it is much better as far as ride times and having to wait in queues.

Its clear that everyone has a different risk tolerance, so only you can decide if you feel comfortable going. DH and I have a pretty high risk tolerance when it comes to Covid, and had no qualms about our week long Disney trip two weeks ago. I can't speak to Universal, but at least at Disney, there were very few instances where I was within 6' of others without some kind of barrier. In queues, I was 6' from others almost all of the time, we had either our own ride vehicle or there was a physical barrier every time, and dining and transportation were all spaced appropriately with barriers where needed. I am most definitely in closer contact with people for longer amounts of time when I'm grocery shopping or at Target.
