i must confess that on previous cruises I wondered about the tips for the head server. All the device was great and I guess that has a lot to do with the head sever and their training/management of the server teams. I would tip the server teams extra but not the head server
Just got off the wonder and our head server was Vitor. He was all over it. My mother in law is in her late 70's. She struggles with walking very fast but felt hesitant to use a wheel chair. She didn t want to "impose" or make it difficult. Vitor noticed it and in a very effective way took care of the wheel chair every night. He made sure she was seated and even helped cut her steak one night. Yet he did it in a way that didn t embarrass her at all
He also did a cool magic trick turning one dollar bills into 5's. I told him my wife can turn 20 dollar bills into ones just as easy.
So for the first time we tipped the head server extra
Kudos to Vitor. FYI found out he has been at Disney for 2 years after 28 at Royal carribean
