Where...to...start...?

I have been married to the big guy for...well...ever... We are the proud parents of 3 boys...19, 14, and 7. We have had our ups and downs and all arounds...but we are so happy and so so blessed. We are hockey parents and have spent a vast majority of our time and money on our boys hobby. We also have never taken a honeymoon as we moved across country the week after our wedding.

Fast Forward to my oldest childhood...living in SoCa we went to Disneyland...a lot. AP a lot. DH went along all the time.

Fast Forward to my youngest child... he has been begging to go to Disney world. We now live on the East coast. Last spring I started to price it out... And for his 7th birthday hubs and I told him he was going to Disney!

And then... Big Brother #2 didn't want to go. And then... Big Brother #1 said no way. And then...DH voiced his decision to stay home and let me have a Mommy/Son trip.

Hubs is not a fan of...crowds...heat...theme parks...rides... so obviously Disney was a BAD choice for him. I took my boy and we had THE.TIME.OF.OUR.LIVES. We were already planning a return trip for this year at the same time.

And then... we got invited to a wedding in South Carolina. First...no one was going... then...the whole family for a week at the beach. Then... the whole family for the wedding and a quick trip to Universal. Then...no one was going... and in December...some major pixie dust fell and my HUSBAND suggested he and I go to the wedding and then finally... what seems like 800 years later...get our honeymoon to Disney!!!

I jumped on that and called my TA. And thus...the planning began...

So first... we had to look at resorts... and flights... and since we were basically planning one vacation with two locations... hotels. I give my husband and a few friends a lot of credit... I talked this over TO.DEATH. Hubs was not really receptive and basically told me he was only doing this for me and he will likely stay at the resort 100% of the time.

Sad to say... I was great with it... I would still get to go to Disney...

So we picked our resort...POP century...which hubs is not excited about but hey, that seems to be the theme. I wanted a resort that I was familiar with and being only my second trip it had to be the same one as last time. We were on a short trip. (Sunday-Thursday) and I didn't have the extra days to get to know the resort layout.

I started with travel plans and found great flights with three legs. Travel...check.
I signed my contract and paid my deposit with TA. Reservations...check.
I started my meal plans and reservations. Food...check.
Fast pass window opened and I picked them. Fast Pass...check.

Disney was pretty much set... and then it wasn't.
Now just 3 1/2 weeks to our trip and I am starting to stress.

We are leaving the three boys home alone. There is no driver in the house with them. They do ride a school bus and my oldest walks to work. My parents are able to keep them for the weekend but due to their schedules and living an hour away they can't get them to and from school daily.

So my to do list for this trip is...

buy lanyards I am going to use mine from last trip... not sure if hubs wants one or not... said no at first now all of a sudden he says yes....ordered him a star wars one and it is here
buy pins for trading bought and delivered
buy a power box for phones ordered today..being delivered Tuesday received and have used once...
buy clothes for hubs His mom took him shopping this weekend he needs a few more things I can pick up going to pick up a few more shirts tomorrow
buy a dooney and burke purse (hehe) bought a VB being delivered Monday got it
book hotel for wedding booked today
make sure we have transportation to airport to Disney thinking we need to get a car at the airport in SC going to price it out tomorrow
make arrangements for my boys in case of an emergency Done... I have to send in emails to each school to let them know I have a folder with numbers, insurance cards, med auth forms and our med spending credit card for the oldest.
make frozen dinners for the boys Oldest has told me that he will make regular dinners and they would prefer that to frozen meals... I guess I should be happy that he loves to cook?

With all of this to do the time should fly...but between this, hockey practices and tryouts, working 40 hours a week (and more), school concerts, and keeping up the house I am feeling a bit overwhelmed...

And then...Hubs says maybe we should change our meals...
