Princess Caitlin - so glad I saw your TR today. I am in love with your intro.... I thought it was sweet that you'd met at this recent pageant, didn't know you had a history of mis-numbers.

Everything about the flag ceremony is just beautiful. Oh my gosh. The dapper dans sing God Bless America?! That just makes me want to go see this. Honestly, wow. They way you described it was just beautiful.
And your little parade down main street... so precious.
And the Mickey and Minnie ears just top it off.
Basically all I can say is WOW. This really must have been a magical moment. I'm sure you'll all remember it forever.

I've always found it interesting that there is a ceremony to lower the flag at the end of the day as here in Canada the Canadian flag can be flown thought out the night as well.

I googled flag ceremonies to see "why" we lower the flag but all I could find is thtat the US flag is flown from "dawn til dusk" unless it is located where it can be illuminated throughout the night.
