Any tips or suggestions for Hoop Dee Doo Revue as far as show time or seating categories? Any discounts? We have TIW, AP, and DVC. Two adults and kids 13, 10, and 7. Thanks!

We had cat 1 seating last week on our trip. Perfect seats right in the middle of the floor. The performers move all around the venue including upstairs. The seats swivel so it's easy to watch everything. We took a Minnie Van from the Dolphin so we didn't have to take the internal bus loop. We had time to explore the horse stable which was interesting, walk around the boat dock and browse the Trading Post. The food was really quite good and the show was a lot of fun. We went on a Monday so we could take the boat after to MK for eve emh.

We always sit CAT 1 to get closer to the action. It's an interactive show so expect actors out and about.

I've had category 2 and category 3 seating. Both had great views of the show. I wouldn't want to do category 1 because I don't want to be close enough to be selected to be part of the show.

ps we have been there when they took people from cat 2 and 3 to be in show and I can not do cat 3 because of the steps

We just went a few weeks ago. They are now taking AP discounts but to get it you have to do one of two things - either call the dining number and make reservations that way and they'll take the discount off then (because you have to pre-pay) or when we checked in, people who made them online were going to the guest window near the theater to get a refund of the discounted amount.

We booked Category 3 seats at the 4pm show because DH didn't want to be in the show, but there wasn't enough reservations so we actually ended up sitting down on the main floor towards the back which ended up being really nice. I don't know if this is a normal occurrence since this is the first time we've gone but we were definitely happy with our decision.

We've only done category 1, but I'd do category 2 as its still on the main floor and gives you a good seat. I've never done category 3 but noticed that those seats often have their backs to the action if they want to eat.

I can't speak for all discounts, but I do know they offer Tables in Wonderland on the 8:30 show only. I believe you can book any category you want and then how your card at the ticket window day of to get the discount credited back to you (note you have to prepay regardless of a discount)

Awesome, thank you! If we do the late/8:30 show would we eat dinner around 9:00? I’m huessing we would finish the show at 10:30 and make it back to WL around 11:30?

For the 8:30 show, you will start eating by 8:45. We did the 8:30 show last year and as soon as we sat down our server got our drink orders, brought those and then immediately brought the food.
