HDDR - 5ppl Table size

At HDDR, are ADR's for 5 guaranteed to get a round table or rectangle table big enough for 5?

I booked really late for spring break (usually I do 180 out) so I'm hoping they're not going to squeeze 5 of us into a 4 top. I REALLY dislike being squeezed into a 4 top when there are 5 of us - Ruins my meal. So I just want to prepare if that is a possibility.

I got Category 1 if that makes a difference?

Not sure if there is a guarantee or not, but as a party of 5 in category 2 we were sat at a table for 6.

I doubt if they'd squeeze a table of 5 into a 4 top. The tables aren't that big.

This was us. Then the next time we were 7 and got a table for 8. Both times my son took care of eating for the empty seat. I did my share of drinking to cover it.

My family of five has only ever had a rectangle table 6-top in the 4-5 times we have eaten there.

So, we had a table booked for 7 and I needed to add one more person. Modifying the reservation isn't an option modify and the site showed no availability for a table for 8 in Cat1, but there were tables available 8 in Cat2 and 3 so I knew it wasn't an occupancy issue.

Kept pushing the up button on the phone with reservations because I know any table that seats seven also seats eight. Finally, someone added the extra person to the existing reservation for me.

Long story short ... with that many people, it's a rectangular table!

Where is Rusty Scupper?

Last postcard I got from Rusty, he was partying pretty hard about 12 time zones ahead/behind of where we are with his family. It depends on if you are on yesterday or tomorrow's time as to ahead/behind. (He is/was literally half way round the world).

I would call it an extended vacation for him that has been well earned.
