Hawthorne Suites Orlando Airport

We are flying in the night before our Feb 05 cruise & staying at the Hawthorne Suites Orlando Airport. Any fellow DISers stayed there & what is your opinion of that stay? Did shuttle from/to airport run smoothly?

I have stayed there before, but not pre night for a cruise.

If you want to know if the hotel is nice? Yes it is nice, clean and well worth the money.

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise and would definitely stay here again.

Our flight arrived at 10pm. We went straight down to the luggage area and I used the courtesy phone to call for the shuttle. They were there in about 10 minutes. We had a smooth check-in and got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. They had a little store open and we were able to get some late night snacks. If you need to go back to the airport for a rental car or DCL transfer, just sign up for the shuttle at the front desk. In the morning, they had a great complimentary breakfast which included hot items also.

Thank you both so much for the quick replies.

We are SCHEDULED to arrive at 6:05 Friday night before cruise. This would normally leave plenty of time to get to port & stay at a hotel there but you never know what the weather will be like in Milwaukee in February!
