hawaii message boards?

we are thinking of going to Hawaii this spring/summer, and I would love to find a message board like this one to get more info. Does anyone know of one? I would appreciate any help!!! Thanks!

Go to www.fodors.com and find the forum board.

Even though it's a travel board asking questions about any place in the world, I find Hawaii dominates the question board

We went on a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands and found www.cruisecritic.com very helpful. You can choose a particular cruise line or destination. Just choose "Hawaii". I got a lot of good info for our stay on the islands.

Try www.hawaii.com. They have message boards there and a lot of travel info. Also, if you sign up on the site, you can collect points for browsing the site which you can use to enter contests. I dream of going to Hawaii some day and have learned a lot from this site. There a few people that frequent this site who actually live in Hawaii and are good sources of info. The number of members is not nearly as large as the Dis, but I think you will like it.

Scanmom, just to give you fair warning about the message boards I referred you to...........I haven't been on them for a few weeks and just went there today. Apparently there are a couple of trolls that have decided to kick up some trouble over there and the boards are not being well moderated. Just ignore it, those boards are usually not like that. The members there are trying to settle it all down. Also, I forgot to mention that you will find info there on the "downside" of paradise. Take it for what it is. Every place has its problems. I still want to go to Hawaii too. I hope you enjoy your trip.

I still enjoy that board, especially the Relocation board, despite the trolls. Somebody called one an e-thug...sorry, but .

Another good site/board is www.konaweb.com which is mostly for Kona and Hilo, but people ask questions for the other islands, too. I am hoping to return home some day so I'm there a lot lurking...

I'll 2nd tripadivsor. I used this site for my honeymoon and got a lot of good information out of it.
