Having an extra person come as a fastpass rider as a standby?

Not really sure how to word this, but I have a friend joining me for a day and I can't add her onto my fastpasses for multiple reasons.

If I went up and asked when I'm about to redeem my fastpass, would they let her in with me? We are both teens, so logically, they may let us in so we wont be alone.

In the past, I've had 4+ people join (but I had a large party myself), and I'm not sure if this works.

What should I do/is this allowed?

It depends on the CM. Sometimes they will and sometimes they won’t. All you can do is ask.

Likely not, but depends on the CM. Consider that if everyone did this then how would they manage FPs? Its not right for those who do follow the guidelines and get FPs to have others, in essence, sneak onto the ride through the FP line. Have her make her own FPS and overlap yours, but, blatantly not following the rules is not cool. By rule it is not allowed and realistically should NOT be.

No, probably not. No offense, but I hope they don't. As noted above, that would be something very easily taken advantage of and sort of defeat the purpose of FP+.

I think if you want to get a fastpass for your friend you need to go to City Hall or equivalent at the parks and state your case. Maybe they will give your friend a special pass to get on the ride with you.

Can you possibly have another person in your party give your friend their MB for the rides you want to go on together? When my daughter's friend and family joined us at the park me and DH switched off giving up our MBs so the kids can ride together and we just sat outside the ride and talked

Can't hurt to ask, but you may encounter a CM who abides by the rules and does not let them in. I have seen people attempt this but with practically a whole family and only one person having the FP and they were turned away and they make it seem like the CM was the one in the wrong.
