I have been noticing that I am really having a hard time late night.........been dying to cheat at night.....
So I am doing low carb and although, there are many things I can eat, I still like to stay away from any foods at this time...but, if need be, what do you eat at night?
Also, are there anyfoods that make you feel full?
I think that this just has to do with TOM..... I have never noticed until now, that I seem to be hungry alot during TOM.anyone else?

During TOM i wanna open the frig and eat everything in site
i know exactly how you feel
i drink alot of water and stayout of the kitchen as much as possible

my fave late snack is sugar free jello with a scoop of cool whip
i will also do stuffed celery or if i am really hungry i will cook up a hamburger i try to never let myself get to hungry because then i will eat anything i can find

I love sweets late at night. On South Beach we can have a 75 calorie dessert and I'll usually have a no sugar added fudgesicle or 1/2 cup of no sugar added ice cream. I've been trying to stay away from the ice cream because I think it slows my weight loss down. Lately, I've been having a stick of sugar free gum and 1 litre of water instead of dessert.

The gum keeps my mouth chewing which makes my brain think I'm eating something sweet and yummy and the water gives my tummy that full sensation. Now of course the side effect is that I go potty a couple of times per night but I'm fine with that.

I hope the gum trick helps you. TOM can be the worst. I know I find that I want to eat a bit more the week before and then during that week so I try to be careful.

Do you like eggs? What about making up a batch of deviled egss. I love them and will have to remember it for when I feel like I just have to have a snack late at night and don't want to consume a lot of carbs or calories.

You know, I used to be horrible at eating things late at night. Especially sweet stuff.

Recently I have cut my eating off at 6-7pm and I don't snack at night anymore.

For some reason, my body doesn't even get hungry anymore at night. It somehow knows its done. I don't crave the sugary stuff anymore like I used to.

One good side effect of cutting off your eating by 6-7pm at night is that I get to eat the points I would normally save for night earlier in the day. It keeps me full all day long, where as I used to be starving all day long because I wasn't eating much during the day so I would have lots of points left for nighttime. I don't do that anymore.

Eat a well balanced meal at night. Sorry I can't help you with the low carb stuff because I do WW's. I know beans are super filling. Eating a little bit of carbs (good carbs) with protein usually helps me fill up.

I've never been good at not eating at night. I don't have dinner until 8:30ish and I always feel the need for a bedtime snack. Usually I'll just grab a couple of pieces of lunch meat. It's probably not good for my metabolism, but it keeps me from a binge.

I love to snack at night, and usually crave chocolate or salty snacks depending on the time of the month.

What works for me is to make a deal with myself- no snacking for just tonight, I tell myself, and at the end of the week I can have an ice cream sundae or whatever else I happen to be craving. I substitute this treat for a meal and a snack combined so I don't throw myself off too much. I find a treat once a week works for me-it keeps me from being tempted with "a little something" every night that would add up quickly. And I don't feel like everything is off limits, so the cravings aren't as strong as when you think you absolutely can't have it.

Hope this helps
