The tent was provided during the interim when the spa was being renovated last year. The health club is back at the spa now that the refurb is complete. Here is what I have posted on the first page:

The Health Club is a full service gym available at no extra charge to guests of the GF & Polynesian Resort. A wide range of equipment is available, including treadmills, stair steppers, upright and recumbent cycles, elliptical cross trainers, Smith machine, cable crossover and free weights. The Health Club also features a full circuit of Life Fitness and Precor strength equipment.

Guests must be 14 years of age to use the gym, guests 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

If you would like to use the Health Club during non-attended hours, you must use your room key.

Personal training available by appt.

Hello fellow GF fans!
Things were so hectic that I never got to pop in before we left...

Here now...everything is as Grand as always!

Renovations in Conch are really moving along..and with the lights blazing and the curtains open I just "had" to take a peek..lol... . and was able to see the mostly completed rooms...and they look lovely..

Circusgirl you really did a great job of getting pics of all of the new stuff being delivered..

Weather has been cool..but supposed to be much warmer. .85 degrees!! starting tomorrow! !

Tom..hope you arrived all safe and sound. .

Maxie See you tomorrow. ..!!

Coffee info~ I forget who asked..sorry... the regular coffee being served is Geoffreys french roast ...and there is a Nespresso machine too...

Wow! So many DISers at the GF right now. I hope you all have a fantastic vacation full of fun, relaxation, good food, and good health I am dreaming of warm temps as I sit on the computer looking out the window at MORE snow. So done with this whole winter thing this year. Next week is calling for more snow as well. sigh......

Thanks grannyminnie and Candy hope you are right about the weather..its pretty foggy right now..but significantly warmer..

Sorry Amanda..no pics from me...I am challenged in that department! But I will be happy to give some descriptions...lol..although not as good as Candy's....

The walls in the rooms were a medium tan..doesn't look like wall paper..but I was viewing them from a distance. .and thru the glass sliders with bright lighting. ..

One layout difference was that the desk is now next to the beds..close to the sliders..ala BWI and YC/BC...carpets look like a soft blue..leaning towards blue green more than true blue....and tho the beds were not made up there was what I think was a bedscarf in that reddish color of the daybed that Circusgirl posted...at the foot..also on the bed was a long round pillow..stripped..again outstanding color was that red...the upholstery on the desk chair was a blue..it looked similar to the one that is currently in the rooms...above the desk was a long mirror...didn't really get a good look at it...on the opposite wall is the newer larger dresser/TV armoire...and the day bed...that seems to take up most of that side of the room...above the daybed..which is now more couchy looking. .no wood frame...is a triangular mirror with some scrollwork..its a white color...one interesting touch was on the daybed...a pretty pillow..cream color I thing..with the GF logo on it in that reddish color... all of the colors seemed to blend well...and still looked like they had that overall bright feel...less whimsical and victorian then previous renovations..but lovely none the less..

TAN?!? How does tan fit in with a Victorian theme? The loss of the wallpaper is a real bummer, that was one of the best details in the rooms. And red is one of my least favorite colors, so it sounds like I will be less than thrilled with the changes.~sigh~

I do like the desk being next to the beds, but I wonder if that means no more chair? Hopefully, it is moved over next to the armoire and daybed.

Upon rechecking my pics.. I realized that the GF logo on that pillow is gold..and I forgot to mention the tufted headboards..look like a light tan..almost cream...and wood framed... can't really make out the pattern on the drapes...only a bit of it was showing. ..again overall reds..with golds and cream colors...I bet there is blue mixed in there too...but as I said..only could see a bit of the pattern...and there were lace panels hanging beneath the drapes too....

Didnt see any reading chair....not sure where it would go...and there might be paper on the walls...but looked like a tan paint to me???....hope someone will be checking into one of those rooms soon and be able to give better details...
