Hello. I've been trying to get up-to-date on these boards about all the changes that have taken place since we visited in 2013. There were no magic bands, fast passes were much different, and the only thing I really planned in advance were hotel/food reservations.

We are going this year from June 11th-18th (2 months out). We are staying at All-Star Music (already booked). I still have to get the military tickets from base and we are adding the water park option. We have never been to the water parks!

So I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me out with...

1. When I buy the military tickets and link them to the account...when can I start making fast pass plus reservations, is it 1 month out or 2 months out?
2. I need *a little* more clarification on the extra water park option. The current military tickets are around $200 for a 4 day park hopper. To add the water park option it is an extra $30 something. We are staying 7 days...Could I visit both water parks or just one? Do I have go to the water parks within my 4 days DW ticket window?
3. My girls (10 and 7) are obsessed with Frozen. Do you think the ride will be open during our stay?

Thank you in advance...Also If you have anything else to add...Its been 3 years and I'm rusty!

1. You can make your FP+ reservations at 60 days from the start of your onsite stay.
2. You will have four entries to any water park (BB or TL). Those four entries are valid until the ticket expires in December.
3. No idea.

Thanks. I thought I read somewhere that u can only book fast pass + 60 days out if you bought a package...hotel and tickets together.

Nope. It is 60 days out if you are staying onsite. Doesn't have to be a package. But you do have to have your resort reservation linked in MDE.

2) adding the water park option can basically make your 4-day into an 8 day as long as you do all water park on one day. If you go to MK and a water park on the same day, you will have used one of your hopper days AND one of your water park visits on the same calendar day. On the other hand you can hop between all 4 regular parks on one day and it only uses up one hopper day. I am pretty sure the water parks don't "hop" even between themselves: going to BB and TL one the same calendar day would use up 2 of your 4 visits.

3) be optimistic that Frozen may be open then, lots of rumors swirling that it will be, but WDW doesn't release a specific open date.

Edit: have you seen the Fastpass super thread? TONS of excellent info about Fastpass+ here's a link http://www.disboards.com/threads/the-fastpass-frequently-asked-questions-superthread.3491680/

When you get your military tickets, just link them on your My Disney Experience account. You need to do that before you can make any fastpasses. :)

Just want to say, Thank You for your service! I haven't been to WDW since 2010, so I'm also trying to catch up with all the changes. Have a magical trip!
