Havent been to SW since 1988 - HELP?!?

Taking my family to WDW Jan 25-Feb1 and going to SW on Jan29.

It is now so different. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to make sure we do or things your kids have especially liked. My DD are 5 and 2 1/2.

We were given the tickets to SW as a Christmas present which saved us A LOT of money. So we have a little extra to splurge.

Has anyone done the character breakfast there????

Any ideas would be great help!!!!

Hello Princess,

Well I've always found this solution the best, you can do it all in one day but would be rushed.

You should get to the park around 30 minutes before the gates open, head straight the rides then from there to Key West ( Dolphin Feeding ), thats a huge attraction and when it's busy can be really stressful, try eat lunch early ( 11am or 11:30am ) or the ques get huge atound 12:00. Try organise your day around the shows.

P.S arrive for the shows 20 minutes early to get good seats.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

We do intend to get there BEFORE it opens and plan on staying till it closes.

We should be able to do just about everything, but if not, even more reason to plan Family Trip #2 back to WDW.

Its busier than it is on somedays but I've always known Seaworld to big one the most popular parks, mainly because you get to "Touch" a dolphin, so if you stick with your plans you should be fine, just try do these early :

Dolphin Feeding

Rides ( Artic ride is simulation, its fun but you can do a "Walk Through" version of the ride, and the line is never usually more than 5 minutes.

Shamu's Adventure
Blue Horizons ( Dolphin Show )
If you are staying to late then you might be able to catch "Shamu Rocks America".

Your taking your kids, you might be interested in the "Up Clouse And Personal Tours", basically there 1hour long and you get to travel behind the scenes, such as : Touch a shark, Touch a penguin, Visit behind the Shamu Stadium, all for around $9 each.
There is one called "The Express Tour", what guarntee's you front of the line for all rides, and 2 shows, its $89 ( i think ) but if you have kids its a good investment ( it also includes most of the other activities in previous tours, touch a penguin etc), oh and its 6hours but it covers Dolphin Feeding aswell.

Well, thats just about it really but if your kids dont mind getting wet (Splash's) get to the shows early, nothing like a morning wakeup splash from Shamu!
