Amy&Dan said:WEll Cleo, glad you cleaned up the thread and sorry I posted regarding the issue that wasn't the issue! Anywhoo, my embarrassing moment was last October at Liberty Tree Tavern. It was my son's 11th birthday and I had surprised him by ordering a cake so they could come out and sing. I saw our waitress getting the cake ready and calling others over to sing so I knew it was coming. I signaled my husband and dad to get the cameras ready when my son suddenly gets up and walks off! I said "hey come back here" and he tells me has to go to the bathroom NOW! I tell him no way, sit down you can go later. Suddenly he starts going off, I never let him pee, why can't a guy just go to the bathroom, why do I care, leave me alone, I'm 11. All of this as he stands by these other people's table who are looking at me like I am insane to not let my kid go to to the bathroom. He stomps back to the table and he puts his head down on the table and starts to cry. Really uncharateristic of him. The people at the other table are shaking their head at the control freak mom who won't let her son urinate when he has to. Suddenly this woman is ringing this huge loud bell and yelling "Hear Ye, Hear Ye" ! He looks up and just almost passes out thinking this woman is here to take him to the bathroom, now he is totally upset with me! They finally start singing Happy Birthday, he catches on and his happy. But I was kind of mortified to have my 11 year old yelling at me "why can't a guy just pee?" really loud.

There was a little girl and she had picked up a huge star decoration. She was running around the entire store with it held on top of her head, shouting "Look Mommy!! I'm a Christmas tree!!!!"

This little boy (about four or five) and what I presume was his big sister were dressed as Peter Pan and Tink and were running around, chatting to us etc. - so cute! After an hour, their parents called them back and we moved up so they could sit right on the kerb with us. When the little boy sat down next to me, he looked absolutely horrified! I asked him if he was alright and he said "Your feet are MASSIVE!".
I didn't know what to say but my friend was rolling around laughing![]()
