Have you used Davids rental to rent your points? How fast did it happen?

We recently used David's. We only had 95 points (the minimum they will list). Half of those were sold within a week of being listed, the other half took about 2 months from listing to be picked up, but I think that wait was because not many people want to travel on so few points. Anyways, it's been a painless process so far and I would definitely use them again if I ever had some points I couldn't use (I don't expect that to happen again for a long time, though).

Are you within the 7 month or 11 month mark? Mine were 7.

Are you talking about before they expire? If so, I'm still in the eleven months out.

I was concerned that by doing the smaller 60 point rental that I would have a hard time with the last 100 if someone has a longer reservation or wanted larger accommodations. The girl that I spoke to on the phone said it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm wondering now if I would have been better off waiting for one larger points rental amount. Who knows...

Super helpful. I just put up 100 of my grand californian points up for rent this past weekend. 56 got rented within a day. now i'm waiting for the next 44 points to get rented...

Yes, I meant the 7 vs 11 month window. Since during the 11 month window, the points can only be used at the home resort, you may have more luck once you reach the 7 month mark where they can be used at any resort.

This great to know! I would hate to have to wait for the second half but the quick service must make up for it. Are you able to still rent your points on your own if it is not quick?

I asked about pulling my points and was told you can do that at any time. You just have to notify them so they don't continue to try to rent them.
