Have you used Davids rental to rent your points? How fast did it happen?

Hi,
I was going to use my points for DCL for a cruise April 2016.

I have 26pts that are banked into next year. I have an April use year at WLV.
I get another 250pts this April.

I am considering using Davids rental to rent the points and pay for the cruise.
But.....I am not a patient woman and I would love to just book the cruise and pick my perfect cabin.:rolleyes:

So how fast have you rented your points?
Are you happy with your transaction?
Can I change my mind at any time?

Any other info will be great

We rented our points through David's Rental last year. We had 250 points. We were contacted within 24 hours about a reservation. Made the reservation for 248 pts and received 1/2 funds within 2 weeks. The other 1/2 when they departed for vacation. Very smooth and I would highly recommend.

What happens if they cancel?
I read on site money guaranteed. 1/2 at booking and 1/2 at checkin. They want to guarantee room is available.
If they don't check in or cancel I believe money is guaranteed.

Can anyone chime in on this.

This is the exact same as my experience. Had them rented out in less than a day.
 
I've used them a few times, usually all points gone in a few days. I'd recommend you giving them an e-mail contact address you have quick access to since IIRC the requests get sent out to everyone that has points available and the first that responds gets the rental.

Do they email call or both ?

AFAIK, the first person that responds to their e-mail from David's is the one they give the rental to.
 
I had mine rented in 48 hours too! It was so easy and I highly reccomend it! I am almost positive there in no cancellation because every so often someone posts on here trying to get out of the contract, which never works.
 
Hoping I rent my points ASAP. Want to book my cruise and I am soooo impatient.:o

I rented 500 points, took about a week. 3 reservations. Very easy.

David gets all the money up front. No refunds. Gives half to you and then you only get the other half by keeping the reservation and keeping your dues current.
 
I have rented twice, and both times my pts were rented within 2 days and had my first half payment within a day after that. Very easy, very smooth.
 
Sooooo excited it's been less than 24 hrs and I just made a reservation. Stalking my email worked.
I wanted to rent 276 points.
Ressie was for 278 points so j had to borrow 2 points!
Now I'm praying it goes thru and I get the money to make it a done deal!:flower1:

If this goes thru I will be soooo happy and make my DCL Ressie saving so much:yay:

Had a great experience with David's .......it was fairly painless and the PayPal comes quickly. Even better when the reservation check in happens and the second half comes through!
 
We rented over 400 points, took over a week because the first set of people were time wasters and we had to start again. Very easy great experience. Money comes through exactly when it should.

Wow so 1 week with 2 sets of people not bad!
Hoping I get an email tmrw saying money has been deposited.
at least I'm thinking that is how it works :-)

WOW!!! David's rental is awesome.
My points went in the queue yesterday.
I made reservation today and the renter paid today:worship::yay:
For an impatient girl I can seriously appreciate this seriously fast service:cloud9:
Now I will go home tonight and book my DCL cruise .

Do you have to rent all of your use year points or can you choose to rent a portion of them? We are taking a trip this summer but have about 150 points left and won't be using them. I'd love to rent them out if possible.
