I hope I got that abbreviation right.....
Anyway, I went and picked up my first set of these today and used Un-du and it worked like a charm! I had that sucker off in less than a minute!
I got mine at Archivers (scrapbook store), but I've seen it at Walmart (after I had it of course...) under $5.00.
Also- I had 12 paint chips and it took very little time to get them all off!
Craft stores also carry it. It's a bottle of liquid that somehow neutralizes the tackiness of glue to allow you to un-stick items. You can take stickers off mirrors or furniture, even takes off those tub non-skid rubber stickers! I've also used it to remove photos from an unsafe photo album. It doesn't harm the photo at all.
I've always bought a small bottle; problem is I can never seem to find it when I need it, and have to buy another!
It's been awhile since I bought it, so I can't remember where I found it. If you can't find it easily, ask. I bet every staff person knows what it is.
Great suggestion! After reading this thread this morning, I bought some Un Do when I was at Walmart today and it worked great on removing the LGMH from the backing.
For anyone wanting to try this, I found it at the craft supply area of my local Walmart. At the Walmart that I went to, it was with the glue (near the glue guns) and not with the scrap booking supplies. By the way, the bottle cost a little under $5.
This is a tip that I picked elsewhere on these boards. Let the paint chips soak in water for awhile and the paint chips come right off... perfectly clean. We (DW and I) tried this and it comes off perfect... no adhesive, no paper mess.
