The candele tasted fine and the portion size was reasonable. As I said in the other post, the presentation was disappointing. I don't have a photo, but it came as a square of pasta on the plate, so it's a solid kind of dish, not saucy or gooey, though it does contain sauce and cheese. It looked like something you would get for $8-$9 at a counter service place, and comes completely plain with no side dishes or garnishes.
Now you have me rethinking it. According to the description it had polpettine, which I had never heard of, but upon looking it up found that it was kind of like a meatball, but with cheese instead of meat (had breadcrumb, egg, etc.). Sounded like a brilliant idea to me if done well!
Just had the candele last week. Loved it. It came with a couple of polpetine, which were meatballs. All the food we had was great, if was my DD and DH favorite of all week. DH had the chicken parm and loved it, DH had the pepperoni pizza and loved it. We all shared. Can't wait to go back in March.
