Have you stayed at the Homewood Suites Buffalo Airport lately?

Can anyone advise as to how the stay was. We usually stay at Quality Inn but I am considering the Homewood suites this time because I thought it was new. Then I read on trip advisor a review that said it was showing wear, the bed springs were shot etc...What was your experience. the price is about 30 USD more per night than Quality Inn but kinda want to give something new a try. Any info is helpful, thanks in advance. :sunny:

I just stayed there in November for some black friday shopping. Three of us spent 2 nights there and we really enjoyed it. The room was very clean and nice.

We were there last April. Thought the room was nice and clean. Service was good. I would stay there again if the price was lower. It was good to have a suite but the room was nothing special. Like many hotels the lobby is the nicest place in the hotel.

We will be staying there in 5 days...I can tell you more when I return! We stayed there in Nov 2003 and thought at that time it was really quite well maintained, but a lot changes in a couple of years.

Excellent-thanks everyone. I thought it was a new hotel, am I wrong? Am I thinking of the Holiday Inn Express? I just don't want to pay more and get the same as what I would at Quality Inn. I really would like something a little newer and cleaner than QI. Don't get me wrong, it is great but I just felt a little uncomfortable last time and just want to try a new place. Thanks in advance... :wave2:

We just stayed there Dec 31/05 for 1 night and it was great, clean big and service was excellent. We had reservations at HI express but they e-mailed us stating they had new years party and could be noisey, so we book Homewood. We overheard someone at airport saying they stayed at HI express and it was really noisey that night all hours. You may want to check to see if there are any conferences on the dates you are staying at HI if you choose that hotel.
