Have you stayed at a Robinson condo at Windsor Hills?

We're planning to book something in 2011 and I just came across Dave Robinson's listings. They look great and I'm very excited. There are 5 3bd/2b condos available for the time period we're looking at. I'm just wondering if anyone has stayed at any of these condos and if you have any opinions on which one we should choose. The ones that are available are 204, 204B, 205, 301 & 304. They all look great, but I'm wondering if there's one that's a little bit better than the rest.

TIA

We are staying at 204 the last week in July! I am VERY excited! So far the Robinsons have been extremely easy to work with. Emailed questions are answered promptly and politely. All of their rental documents are very straight-forward. I have every confidence that their condo will be just as wonderful and clean as it appears in the photos on the website. I will post a review when I get back!

We also have a ressie for one of their properties this year and would like feedback :). We are going in Oct. and I really think they look nice and they have been very friendly and professional.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip and your experience at Windsor Hills. We booked 204B for next August and we're so excited.

I stayed in one of his condos 2 years ago and was very happy it was very cleaned and well equipped. I am going to use him again next year when we go back my parents have used him as well and were as happy as we were hope this helps

We just got back today from a WONDERFUL week at one of the Robinson's Windsor Hills condos, unit 204. Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous place! Very tastefully Disney themed and very clean! The kitchen was well-stocked, plenty of dishes to eat off of and pots and pans for cooking. We are now total converts, we will probably never stay onsite again unless it was just for a long weekend or something. Having all that space was just fantastic. On Tuesday we went to Animal Kingdom. It's not our favorite park, so for us it's just a half day thing. We came back to the condo and just relaxed for a couple hours, had an early dinner, and then went to Hollywood Studios for the evening. My dh commented how it would have been so different if we were just in a hotel room, even a Disney resort room, kind of hard to really relax with 5 people all crammed in one room. As far as transportation time, we got to the parks at least as fast if not faster than we do when staying on property, by the time you take into account walking to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, and then the actual bus ride to the park. Even going to the MK, it was just about a half hour from the time we left the condo to the time we were having our bags checked at the park.

I absolutely recommend Windsor Hills and especially the Robinson properties!

We've stayed at Windsor Hills twice now and rented thru Dave Robinson both times. He and the other owners are very nice and easy to work with. Both units we rented were very tastefully done - loved the extra Disney touches. Their website tells you pretty much everything you need to know and the pictures are a realistic depiction of what you will get. There are only a couple things I can think to add. First is that in the 3 bedroom units, the bedroom with twin beds does not have cable hookup for the television. But we were told that this will be true of all the 3 bedroom condos at WH because there was no cable run to those bedrooms when the condos were built. The other thing is that I noticed the rates for next year are going up pretty substantially. A 3 bedroom for this June was $575 a week (before taxes and cleaning fee). When I looked to actually book the same unit for June 2011, the rate was $749 before taxes and cleaning fee. I believe the total was about $930 - still not bad compared to onsite but not as competitive as they used to be. At one point they were also showing a processing fee of about $40 and a bunch of add-ons like game/entertainment packages and early check-in/late check-out - things that used to be included in their rental fee. I just checked last night and those extra fees are not showing up now. (You would only see them if you tried to actually book a unit.) So hopefully they reconsidered and decided to do away with those.
