I copied the above from the bottom of the log in screen... it mentions that the Terms of use are going to be updated at the end of the month....

wonder what that means....

I just noticed it about 5 minutes ago, and I have now just clicked on it, scrolled up and down, and then got bored and closed the window. Lol. Anyways I guess they are upgrading it.

That showed up around the end of last month. I'd imagine they are clarifying some use issues, such as using Disney images to sell stuff, that kind of stuff. My guess, not based in any fact!

I'm assuming it's nothing related to only VMK; that same message is on Disneyshopping.com as well and has been there for awhile.

There is now a link there to the new terms. I have located what I beleive to be the changes, and can see relevance to VMK but will leave that to each to interpret.

5. REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND SECURITY

You agree to provide, maintain and update true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration processes (the "Registration Data"). If you provide any information that does not satisfy this provision, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect as much, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of any WDIG Site (or any portion thereof).

You also agree (a) to promptly notify us at security_breach@help.go.com of any unauthorized use of your username, password, other account information, or any other breach of security that you become aware of involving or relating to any WDIG Site. In addition, you agree to exit from your account at the end of each session.

We explicitly disclaim liability for any and all losses and damages arising from your failure to comply with this section.

I see possible future validation of accounts tracking of quantity of accounts, and a new link for reporting unauthorized use of your account, so responsibility to notify them before you claim your stuff is gone.

Feel free to dig deeper, this is what I saw at a glance, I was trying to decide if the forum posting expectation of privacy does not exist was more stongly worded but did not get back to it.

I believe it's across the board at Disney. I've noticed it on a lot of official Disney sites I frequent.

I just hope they don't start charging to play VMK.. that's my worst fear
