Stories like this make me sick to my stomach. Poor little kid, to be abused like that at the hands of someone who is supposed to be caring for you.... I can't even imagine what he was thinking while this animal murdered him. I will NEVER understand it. I have seen cases of severe child abuse at the hospital I work at and it is very hard to handle. It never ceases to amaze me that people who seem to have no parenting skills and are clearly not in a position to give a child what he or she needs (and I'm not talking about money) can have child after disposable child while others who would make wonderful parents can't have any.
