Have you seen the sheets of State Stamps

they are selling at the post office? You have to purchase the whole sheet ($18.50). There is a stamp for every state with the words "Greetings from ...". It's very nice looking - I'm going out today to get a frame for it to hang in our den.

Yes! My son collects stamps and we purchased that sheet back in the summer. They are very nice.

Why didn't they make individual sheets for each state? I'd rather have a sheet of "Greetings from Michigan" stamps, rather than a sheet with "Greetings from..." every other state.

I bought a sheet when they first came out and my DD got a hold of them thnking they were stickers

I like those. I fight the urge to buy them when I go to the PO. What I would really like is the collection of post cards that they made to match the stamps. I have a few of the Florida ones and have one waiting right now to go out in the mail. I think they only sell the PC for the particular state you're in, so you can't just buy the whole set.

That would be a good idea to have a whole sheet from one state. I guess they were thinking of marketing them more towards collectors than for actual postal use.
