While browsing the scrapbooking aisle at Target, I came across a few sets of alphabet dies.... they look just like the Sizzlets alphabets, same type of case, same size.... except the packaging says Ellison (or Ellison by design, I can't remember). (Yes, I know that Sizzix stuff is made by Ellison.) The price is right on with the price of Sizzlets sets at $109.99. I found a font I REALLY want and I'm sure it would work with my Sizzix machine. But unfortunately Target doesn't offer 40 or 50% off coupons like ACM or Michael's... and I am too impatient to wait for them to be on clearance. And I haven't seen this same font offered in the Sizzlets before (but of course, I can't remember the name of it right now). Anyone seen these? Found them on sale anywhere??? THanks for any help.....................P

The ellison machines are used at my school. They have a thick rubber mat around the metal cutting edge. I don't know if they work with anything other than the ellison machines (I haven't seen a sizzix machine to compare). The machines we have at school will allow you to put the paper you are cutting on the bottom metal of the machine, you then place in the dies and press down with the handle a couple of times to cut.

That's basically how a sizzix works too.

Sounds cool, but our Target has squat for scrap stuff.

I bought a few of the dies and used them in my sizzix and they worked fine. I got them at target - they were cute a birthday candle and then an admission ticket. They were inexpensive too I think each one was under $5.00. They had them at my target in CT

ouor target has about 2 feet of scrapping supplies so I bet we won't get them.

I've heard of Targets that have an whole aisle or more but ours is right across the street from Michaels - I don't know if that's why or not.
