I love fort wilderness, its my favorite vacation spot! We have brought our own motorhome down there, as well as rented cabins and even rented an rv locally. i just saw this doubleback vw camper and thought it was a pretty compact way of traveling for 2 people. would be too small for my family, but i like the idea!

It looks interesting. Being restricted to only 2 people while driving might limit it's usefulness. And the $88K MSRP would limit it's ability to be in my driveway.

I think that is a lot of nights in a WDW resort too.

The van-style RV is what's called a Class B RV (I think). They usually are practical for two people but QUITE expensive.

I'll stick to my old Suburban and my paid for popup. Not a damn thing wrong with either one.

We had vw campers 3 different times back in the day and had many wonderful vacations in them. We also had two children and managed to do just fine. Amazing what you can do when you 'really' enjoy vacations but have little $$'s :) It was also our family vehicle ;)
