Have you rented from Dollar at Regal Sun resort

I just tentatively booked through Dollar for our upcoming trip b/c it was only $25/day, including taxes and I think we may want a car for part of our trip as we've never been "carless" at WDW before. Was it easy? I remember seeing this resort as we waited 90 minutes (!) for a bus from DTD to OKW so I think it will work out ok as I can take the boat/bus to DTD and walk across to pick up and then reverse it on the drop off? I couldn't find similar deals at the Car Care center so this was the next best place.

I rented back when it was the Grosvenor. Very easy. They have a shuttle van that will pick you if you schedule it ahead of time. Direct number is 407-583-8000

We have rented from Dollar. Short walk from DTD or SSR if you don't want to wait for the shuttle.

I rented 3 of our cars for a big family trip (last New Years) at the Dollar counter at the Regal Sun. It worked out great. They were out of the midsize's and actually upgraded all three cars to luxury cars.

We returned our cars at the airport Dollar location.

How did you get it for $25 a day? That's great! Is there a special promotion? I wanted to rent a car for my aug trip for a couple of days, but i don't want to spend too much.

I just used the codes on mousesavers site and one came up for $21/day plus taxes and fees, which are SO much less since it isn't at the airport. I believe I used code OAG but there were others on the site that ended in the same result. For that price, I don't feel badly at all renting a car!
