Have you received your $40 gift card for doing the DVC phone tour?

I think it was back in September or October that Disney visa cardholders were mailed an offer to get a $40 Disney gift card in exchange for a 20 min phone tour of DVC.
I just got to thinking it's been a while and could probably dig up the postcard with fine print but I'm wondering if anyone has gotten theirs yet. :confused3

When they offered this a few years ago for the opening of Aulani, FedEx left a notice on our door that it had to be signed for and no way they'd leave it on the door step. Since we both work I had to pick it up at the Fed Ex office one night.

I hope I didn't miss it somehow.

ETA: OK, it was actually in November & December this was offered. Seems so long ago. I did my phone tour on Dec 1st and it says I should receive it approximately 30 days after the tour. Darn, it's too late to call tonight.

I did this on a May 2013 offer and never got mine! My tour guide was a guy named Al and when I said we weren't ready yet but were thinking about the future he made a comment about "sometimes they don't process the request for the gift cards" and I knew right then I wouldn't be getting one. :-(

I didn't receive one either!!!!!

My Mom received an e-mail and did it in Oct. She received her $25 gc in time for our Nov. trip. Said the guy was very nice.

I've done it twice (most recently in 2012, I think) and gotten the giftcard both times. You can email the guide you spoke to and ask about it.

He did email me but if only I saved one of them. :headache:

This offer was definitely $40, not 25. I have the original post card they mailed me with the offer. Maybe I'll try calling the phone # on it.

On Saturday I called the number on the postcard and a very nice lady named Betsy said she would look into it and call me back. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but really didn't think I'd get a call back. Well, she did call me today. It's been shipped and she gave me the tracking number.

I love Disney. :lovestruc

It's worth a call to try at least. I didn't get an offer for May 2013 but the number for this fall offer is 1 877 849 3077. Maybe it's the same # for the May offer.
:goodvibes

I did the $40 offer a few years ago - the process of receiving my gift card was very weird. I got a postcard saying I had missed a delivery and had to pick it up at a FedEx location. Maybe you missed the notification about it?

It's very possible. We come in the house through the garage (attached) and rarely use the front door. We have a mail slot in the garage door so I only go to the front door for package delivery or if someone knocks.
If that's what happened and the little tag was lost I feel really bad that Disney had to pay to ship it only to have it be returned. It was peak holiday rush and it completely slipped my mind about the Fed Ex thing. I should have known; that's how they shipped it last time. :guilty: It's signature required too so I'll have to have it sent to a Fed Ex pick up center.

Mine was this offer as well. Although I am not a Disney Visa holder, I just had double trips booked at the time. I wonder if this was the same thing.

I did my tour and got the gift card within reasonable time.

I did this in the summer. It was $25 for me. One delivery was a thick color booklet with photos of the properties and prices that was left at the door. The day that FedEx brought the gift card, I had to sign for the delivery. The phone guide had told me I would need to be home to receive this and about when it would be delivered.
