Have you met any Diser in your stay at DVC Locations ?

Ok stupid question no.2 and many more to come. Recently when we stayed at POP we had met alot of DIS'ers. SOme we know and had the same check in dates and the others... we found there window decorations. Does this happen in the DVC world or it gets a bit up'pitee ( which I hope not )

I loved all the recent Pop'pers we met, we're like really good buddies now even after the trip.... and plans to have a reunion trip...

Yes and he was somewhat "uppity". I'm still upset that he didn't invite me to have some of that steak he was grilling by the pool.

Don't worry. You will meet lots of nice people.

Yes. There are very nice charcoal grills by the pools (at least at the BCV and BWV I'm sure of the location).

Tell me when you are going. Nothing like Bar-B-Q. Especially when cooked by someone else!

I will sure will! That is one thing I miss when on vacation at the Promised Land be bale to BBQ since we only stay at the regular resorts... have not seen any grills unless it is at the food court

Kathleena and I planned to meet, we were each traveling with a youngster and it made for some great times!
Last year we met the people who were getting the Christmas tree after us. I hated to give it up and go back home, but it was going to a very nice family!

Nope . In fact, on our last trip, I noticed a woman wearing a lime green shirt (this was at BWV), so I approached her and nicely asked her if she was a Dis-er. Almost got my head bitten off...........she acted as if I had cursed her! I lamely tried to explain the Disboards and the forums, which then caused her to look at me as if I were crazy !
After that, although I saw many, many folks wearing lime green, I stayed away!

I've met a couple at HHI, only one at BWV (Hi Kathleena) that I remember. I don't remember meeting any at BCV, VWL, or SSR. At OKW, although I didn't meet any, someone recognized my LGMH and pointed to his. But he was in a line getting on a bus, so unfortunately we didn't talk and I didn't see him again. Any others were prearranged. I'd love to meet more, but I think they're all hiding from me! I hardly ever see any LGMHs at WDW.

I also have never met another Dis'er at WDW. I've been on the lookout our last few trips for anything lime green (as a matter of fact, I made sure DH and I both had several lime green items to wear during the week, but no one approached us either). I actually made note of several Dis'ers who were scheduled to be there the same week (10/14 thru 10/20/06), but, didn't run into anyone. We're going again 1/13 thru 1/20/07........anyone going to be there that week.....maybe we should actually plan to have a Dis meet????

There was a door with the Mouse Head Paint things from Home Depot and maybe someones birthday written on the door?
