ok, fess up. How many of you have decided what you are going to order (weeks and months in advance :lmao: ) based on pictures you have seen in reviews or the food porn thread?

I was showing my DH pics from Kona tonight and the coconut almond chicken looked so good!
I now want to order that next month!

Who else?:yay:

I confess!! :rotfl2:

It's all Mr. Disney's fault ... if it weren't for him we'd never have booked the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's. :goodvibes

I wouldn't have ordered Ger's bread and butter pudding dessert at Raglan Road had I not seen the food porn and read about how good it was.

I'm a chocolate dessert person, and I thought Ger's pudding was outstanding! :thumbsup2

I a mordering the ribeye at Yachtsman because of them too! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Sometimes I just get excited about the choices I've made (months in advance) when I see my choice in a dining review but my mind is usually made up anyway.

EXCEPT for SCHOOLBREAD -- gotta try it, gonna eat it ... all because i keep DROOLING over pics of it!!! Oh ... I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, the pictures of Le Cellier's Steaks and Ohana Bread Pudding with Banana Foster sauce hooked us!!!

I won't even consider ordering something unless I've seen a pic on these boards!!!

Well, I checked the menus first and then booked ADR's. Then looked at the wonderful photos.

Now I'm having trouble trying to find a replacement as all the filets are disappearing. I have no idea what to order at Kona now. The coconut chicken is out-don't like coconut. Not a fan of seafood either.

Yes!
I am not sure I would have bothered with Spoodles until someone recently posted a pic of their rigatoni.
YUM.

Absolutely!

Yak and Yeti was dead last on my list until someone posted some dropdead mouthwatering pictures a few months ago. From that moment, I HAD to have a reservation there!

Man fooling with this food Porn is messing me up and causing me so much trouble, yall need to stop posting these pics,:rotfl2: I usually order the same thing wherever I go or it takes me forever to make up my mind, but with this porn I wont even need a menu! I am now trying to work Tutto Italia,Yak & Yeti, and Spoodles.I am going to be doing some OOP during free dinnng, not enough to upgrade to the the deluxe but enough to see a Ben on a bill:laughing:

I am too scared to visit food porn, but I have bookmarked the FP photo index by restaurant site to visit when I am brave enough.

showthread.php?t=1601839 (sorry, can't post link, I don't have enuf posts)

BUT MickeyNicki's incredible photos and food reports have influenced more than a few of the ressies for my trip starting on SATURDAY- Boma for BF, Kona for BF and Dinner and Yak & Yeti. We have Deluxe Dining and have booked 3 meals almost every day.

For the Kona Coconut Chicken Lovers- I found the recipe for this on-line and made it a couple of weeks ago for a pre-trip fix. Yummy!

kona = tonga toast
beaches & cream = no way jose
raglan road = bread & butter pudding

Do you see a pattern forming here? We love our deserts! :cloud9: (even at breakfast ;) )

Oh, definitely! I have made most of my choices based on reviews and photos I've seen here. I hate to think of all of the amazing things I would have missed if not for the dining boards. :thumbsup2

I have....Spoodles for the shrimp linquini, Ohana for that fantasic bread pudding and I am sure there are a ton of others that I cannot think of right now!

I actually cancelled one of my ressies because of the food porn thread. Someone posted a very complete looking spread of Boma's and although it looked really yummy, it didn't look very low carb friendly. Having seen some pictures at other options I feel better about eating at a few of the restaurants I haven't been to before.

We have. I talked DH into O'Hana the first time we went b/c of the pics and he's been hooked on that place ever since.

They aren't getting rid of all steaks, are they? Here's my prime rib, medium rare:

And my sister's teriyaki steak:

Yes I know it's blurry, but my mom's pomegranate glazed pork chop was outstanding:
