:) Hi there,

I just received a vacation planning kit for my upcoming visit to Orlando, and I read about a place called "Terror in Orlando". It appears to be a haunted house attraction. In the website ( www.terrorinorlando.com ) it stated that it just very recently opened (last month). Has anyone visited or hear about this place? Is it any good?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

I'd heard it was coming, but was unaware it had actually opened--guess I figured they would wait until closer to Halloween. I have yet to see any advertising locally, but I will ask around.

I wonder if it will be like Terror on Church Street-they did a good job with that place. Looked like movie sets.

I went to Terror on Church Street back in 1995 and 1996. It was awesome!!! I've never been sooooo scared in my life. You walk through various rooms in a line of about 8 people. You put your hands on the shoulders of the person in front of you, and walk into rooms with villians like Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, the Scream guy, and they sort of follow you, jump out at you, and overall, just make you scream!!!! It is pitch black and the music was real loud. So I think it would be great if this new place is gonna be like the old one!!:scared1:

If anyone goes be sure to post a review when you get back. Looks like a nice new attraction, for those seeking a thrill. :scared1:

I also did Terror on Church Street after partying at the bars in church street's heyday in the mid '90's and that was the best fright "house" I had ever been to. I think it was Jason with the running chainsaw suddenly coming up from behind that got me the most. Good stuff. If this is the same production, then it should be pretty fun.

The two attractions are unrelated. All of the reviews I've seen for Terror in Orlando say it's pretty low-tech. Sounds like it has more in common with the defunct Skull Kingdom than Terror on Church Street
