hey guys, have you seen the new line of furniture at target? I want it! It's really cool. It's for us crafty people, the cubbord is really cool, the door has hooks to put your stickers, scissors, etc on it, the shelves look deep enough to hold 12x12 paper..... I'm going to have to watch for the furniture clearance in jan. :D maggie

Wow I live across the street from Target!! Now I won't be able to get there fast enough tonight! Can't wait to see it! I'll keep you posted on the sales. I usually hit the 95% off holiday sales all the time.

I LOVE the 90% off sales! (hence my name, bargain queen). I love target, almost stopped at the fairlakes one on my way home this afternoon, but had already done enough damage at AC moore.... Can't wait for the 90% off halloween sale. :D maggie

Okay Maggie from what I know about Target (which is a lot cause I'm always there) There 50% off sale on Halloween will be Saturday the day after Halloween so my guess will be that on Tuesday it will be 90% off. There do big mark downs on most Tuesday's and since they are already pushing Christmas stuff my guess will be Tuesday.

From what my friend says my two story Target blows the 2 near you away. She drives up to mine for day after sales. Feel free to come and visit too. The one in Springfield Mall is good too. My parents go there.

It scares my husband that I know some much about Target.

I have a new Target near me at work and I just love going in there. Almost as dangerous as scrapbooking shopping

the tuesday should be 75% and thursday should be 90%. Which target are you close too? maggie

Julianne - a 2 story Target??? Wow-I'd love to see that. I practically live in our Target. Is it a super store with groceries or what? Anyone else have a 2 story?

Maggie,

Where in the store did you find this crafter's furniture? And how much is it now?

If I save my $15 per week scrapbook $$ how long will it take me to purchase it?

Who can't resist a bargain of any kind.

hey laura, it's in the furniture section and I want to say it was all around 75$. Not really sure because I was in a bit of a hurry. So, it would probably take 5-6 weeks to save up for it (a piece at a time) :D maggie

I hate our 2 story taget! I don't feel it is laid out right....I go to the one in Delaware....no tax and all on one floor! I love the after Christmas sales too! One year they over bought those art boxes...tons and tons of them I waited and then bought 20 at 49 cents a piece. Next Nov. guess what Rachel's party favors were?!?! All the parents were shocked! They sell for around $7!

spinning, roflmao! I STILL have like 15 of those art boxes from that christmas sale. (and that's after using them for kate's party and the reflections prizes at school, and yet another party.... ) Went a little crazy with the art boxes at 49cents. Of course, there was the halloween clearance where my friend gina and I went crazy in the flashlight aisle.... lets just say I gave away flashlights at kate's halloween party the next year, still have 4 2packs, and um... the glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets.... stilll have them, have enough to give to kate's 3rd grade class this year for halloween and kate's personal halloween party..... need paper towels? klenex? paper plates? :D you guys get the idea... maggie

If only all my scrapbooking stuff would fit into it!!!! Maybe if I get two or three. tee hee hee.

It is such a nice feeling to know that I'm not the only one who just buys things becasue they are 95% off. My husband says it is a sickness that was passed down from my mother. So do you have the kid size paper maiche tricker treaters that were $1.25. I bought 10 2 years ago. My DD was an infant at the time and I piled them on top of her infant carrier in the shopping cart. I got many dirty looks but I think it was a great lessons on the art of a good sale. My DS can spot those red stickers from aisles away.

Maggie I go to the Gaithesburg Rio store. Germantown is not too far away but they are always wiped out. Plus we have Pizza hut and Taco bell in ours which is a nice treat for the kids being patient. The one in Frederick is pretty good too but they are a little slower getting there sale stuff together. That store is not as picked through.

If anyone really wants to take a road trip the Target in St. Mary's County (across from Solomns Island) is great!! They have some of the best sale aisles and endcaps.
